    Nice location. very near the subway, restaurants and supermarket. Staff were very helpful. Food was great. Room is relatively large. Really enjoyed our stay.

    8 of us booked 2 twin sharing rooms and 2 moderate double rooms for 9 nights at this hotel. During checkout, staff S. Shinoda was extremely rude and unfriendly. We requested luggage storage for our group of 8 people comprising of 9 medium-sized and 7 cabin size suitcases. Shinoda and another front desk lady officer told us we had “too many luggages” and that they could not accommodate us. They mentioned that they do not take into account the number of guests and the number of nights stayed. We were shocked when they used a translation app to tell us that if we were unhappy with their service, we could just take our luggage and leave, and that we were “no longer customers” because we had already checked out. We showed them luggage storage is listed as one of the hotel top amenities and requested that they could just let us store our luggages for 3 hours so that we could all go for lunch as we have arranged for airport transfer service to pick us up from this hotel. They could not accede to our request after half an hour and told us to take 4 cabin size luggage out together with us. I have stayed in so many different hotels in Japan and this is the first hotel that l have encountered luggage storage issues. This check out experience really spoil our mood for the day. We reluctantly compromised and drag 4 luggage out. After walking out of the lobby for less than 5 metres, 3 of us decided to go back to the lobby with the 4 luggages since it was inconvenient to bring them to the nearby eatery. Moreover we lost our appetite over this matter. While waiting, other guests arrived and their luggages were accepted and filling up at the spaces where they forbid us to store our 4 cabin size luggages. Absolutely disappointed that the hotel could not provide the luggage storage service listed as their top amenities. Definitely an unpleasant experience staying at Keisei Richmond Hotel Tokyo Monzennakacho as all our moods were dampened by the poor service and amenities
