The hostel is near to Sapporo Station but a distance from attractions. Self check in via tablet. Help is available through video call. There is no elevator. The stairway up to the dormitory is very narrow so it helps to keep the big luggage in a coin locker at the train station. Toiletries and towel are provided. No slippers though. If you do not like curry smell, then it is not suitable for you as you will smell it once you enter the hostel. Overall, it is clean and recommended if you need a place to stay near Sapporo Station.

other than the fact that there is only mixed rooms available, everything else was perfect! oh and there is no lift so you need carry your own luggage up

The hostel is a rather long walk from the station, especially with bulky luggages, and the facility is on top of a curry restaurant. It's clean (though the common area is the restaurant so rather smelly...) And You get to eat a good looking (but rather expensive) curry twice a day but... That's about where the perks end. They charge a massive amount of money for a capsule bed, the floors have no privacy whatsoever and of course the other guests tend to be noisy and disrespectful (someone getting up and switching on all the lights at 6am while rummaging in their luggage is rather annoying, but nobody is enforcing rules about this, so...).
The check in procedure is done remotely by someone who can speak other languages but not excellently and the speaker is rather faulty, so it would be just easier to have a pc and proper instructions. Again, no staff is present on the venue during the night, so it makes it rather annoying if you have any issues or questions. Moreover, the cleaning staff starys to change the beddings as soon as they are free, meaning that they are in the way making noises from early morning...
I won't be coming back. For this lind of service, I would expect a much cheaper price (I was able to book only one night for 2500/3000 yen).
