    While many may be dissuaded from staying here due to it being an adult only love hotel. The rooms are exceptionally clean, and quiet, with large bathtubs and plenty of space to relax during your trip. The location is conveniently around scholars road, and the university, so there are plenty of sights to see and restaurants in the area. Especially good with so many temples and hiking trails nearby to come back and relax in your personal jacuzzi tub after walking in the mountains all afternoon.

    The motel is a hidden vintage find. Room is a naturally retro, big bathing room, big bed. Bed and room was comfortable. The wallpaper was a bit loud for my eyes ( they gave us the pink flower room, everything is pink) water pressure in the giant bath tub room was a bit low, no personal fridge but the front desk gentleman was very helpful and let us use the hotel’s fridge to keep are jelly cold. Does come with some bathroom amenities but you have to pick them up at the entrance. Doesn’t not provide condoms, which is nice feeling that isn’t not like love hotel. Be sure to bring your charger cords because this hotel is so naturally vintage that it doesn’t have cell phone charging ports but I’m sure if you ask the front office they will let you borrow. Area is secluded, quiet but yet walking distance from a decent priced grocery chain and temple. Parking garage is a bit narrow so we parked our Prius outside in the front. Does have an elevator but it’s a tiny grandpa elevator so it takes time. But other than that we would definitely stay again if they would give us a more toned down wallpaper themed room.

    First of all, a 7 PM check-in is ridiculous. I understand it’s a sex hotel, but I booked it for my stay in Kyoto. That being said, the room was clean, nice, and comfortable.
