    • 10 minute walk to Hakata Station • hotel offers free shuttle ride to Hakata Station • expect the annex room to be a bit cramped for 3 people but it was manageable • cleanliness is top notch • beds are great including the pillows • receptionists are kind and helpful ; not everyone though can communicate in English (translation app is a big help!) • 7 eleven and Family Mart nearby Will certainly book here again if we find ourselves in Fukuoka again

    I had a pleasant stay at President Hotel Hakata during my trip to Fukuoka (June 22–29). The location is excellent—set in a quiet neighborhood yet within walking distance of both Hakata Station and Gion Station. There's a FamilyMart right across the street, a 7-Eleven just a couple of blocks away, a highly recommended restaurant next door, and plenty of other dining options nearby. There's also a park across the street and a bus stop about a 5-minute walk away. The hotel offers a free shuttle to and from Hakata Station, which was very convenient. Daily housekeeping was excellent, the Wi-Fi was reliable, and there's a shared service area with laundry facilities, a microwave, and free ice. The room size is what you'd expect for Japan—compact but comfortable. Check-in and check-out times are strictly enforced, so keep that in mind. Overall, it was a comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable stay. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Fukuoka.
