First Cabin Midosuji-Namba

Above and beyond amazing experience and from the room, facilities and most especially the staff. The location is one of the major win as it is closest to Midosuji line. When you take B1 exit 13, you are already at the train station. Super near to Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi. 10000000/100 over all experience. Will stay here again next time.💓💓💓

​First Cabin Midosuji Namba is the perfect setup for a solo traveler. The cabin layout offers great private space to unwind, and the shared bathroom areas were kept very clean and tidy. A hassle-free and comfortable stay overall!

I’ve stayed with first cabin capsule hotels before. Previously I paid for a cheaper room but it was still fabulous, based in a few locations in Tokyo. I upgraded to a larger room on this occasion as I was travelling with my elderly nan who last minute could not make the trip due to health issues. She got zero refund a week out which was disappointing but accepted as per the Agoda website. The larger room although looks great allowed lot of light and noise in above the door slide. Something u don’t get in the smaller capsules, so I dont intend to stay in the larger one again. The room next to me that would have been my nans although paid for in full still got rented out to others while I was there. Slightly disappointing as the paid for buffer may have avoided noisy snoring neighbours on the women’s only floor. The receptionist didn’t speak English and I wasn’t able to check in until something ridiculous like 5pm. But check out was 10am. There’s were only two working toilets on level 4, a noisy fitness centre that played very loud music that reverberates through the floor and bedrooms and the bathroom sinks had little to no water pressure or loose taps. It felt very run down and old and made me glad Nan didn’t come. My pillow was flat like a pancake and it was very hot at night. U heard air conditioning but certainly didn’t feel it even with a massive gap between the sliding door and the room roof along the whole length of the capsule room. I needed a key for my shoe locker, a swipe card for the lift and room entry and another massive key and holder for my room lock draw. I stayed for 8 days and on my first arrival day the receptionist seemed annoyed that I may need my bedding changed at least once while I was there. In the end I decided to just accept my privacy and didn’t request a change of bedding! If u wnat to use the lift around 5pm on a weeknight it will be FULL of business men that work in the building leaving for the day so just use the stairs. The only positive really was the location but I’ve stay in capsule hotels in shinshinbashi before that were way better! And would be my first choice when I return. When the ladies bathroom was being cleaned I had to walk down to level 3 to look for a shower but the only ones available were in the onsen area and zero privacy. No doors. Ahhh no thank you! Would I recommend. No! Money is better spent at a different capsule hotel in the neighbouring area.
