The name does not lie, it was in an ice cream shop that gives a 20% discount to hotel guests. Ice cream was pretty good, beds were comfortable, rooms were clean, and the location is great. Right in the middle of Dotonbori, and it's about a five-minute walk from 24h coin laundry.
Guests in upstairs rooms could be heard stomping around, but that's not at any fault of the owner.
