    The Grand Palace Resort in Yercaud offers a truly delightful stay with stunning hill views, warm hospitality, and well-maintained facilities. The ambience is serene, perfect for relaxation and family getaways. While the overall experience is memorable and positive, the cost feels slightly higher than expected compared to similar resorts in different hill station

    The only redeeming quality of Grand Palace, Yercaud, is its stunning hillside views, which admittedly are worth a glance. Beyond that, the property is merely decent for its price, but the service is nothing short of disastrous. Room service workflow is broken, requests are either ignored or delayed endlessly, and when complaints are escalated, there is no urgency, no plan, and no accountability. The staff’s indifference is glaring, leaving guests frustrated and neglected. The sole exception was Karpagavalli, whose professionalism and effort to correct mistakes stood out, though one person cannot salvage an otherwise failing system. Management’s lack of urgency and poor follow-up overshadow any positives. In the end, our stay was painfully average, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone — not even to an enemy.
