    We stayed at Le Royal Park, Pondicherry from 10–12th in the Junior Suite and the experience was unacceptable. The property is clearly dated and poorly maintained. The room felt neglected the moment we walked in. The Junior Suite had multiple hygiene and maintenance issues. There were small cockroaches in the room, the bed was creaking and noisy with every movement, and the faucet in the washroom was leaking throughout our stay. When we reported the faucet issue, the staff casually told us that “the pressure is more so this is normal”, instead of fixing it. This response summed up the overall attitude to customer service. Customer service was very poor. There was no sense of responsibility or urgency to address issues, and no attempt to make our stay more comfortable despite clear complaints. For a property that markets itself as a premium option, this level of upkeep and service is simply not acceptable. Overall, it was a bad stay and we would not recommend Le Royal Park to anyone looking for a clean, well-maintained, and professionally managed hotel in Pondicherry.

    The rooms were slightly old but other facilities, like pool and buffet, were good. The food , especially their Margherita Pizza, was delicious.

    The hotel is old but the maintenance is good. The rooms were big and spacious and clean. I needed a desk but there was none which was a bit of a pull back for a business visitor.
