Hotel Le Royal Park - Puducherry

From the moment you step into the hotel, you leave the hustle of the outside world behind. The warm hospitality and attention to detail make you feel truly looked after throughout your stay.  The staff were notably friendly, and the overall experience — from check-in to check-out — was smooth and pleasant.  The rooms were clean and spacious, with attentive room service that added to the comfort of the stay.  The hotel is well-located near White Town and within easy reach of key attractions like Sri Aurobindo Ashram and Pondicherry Museum, making it very convenient for sightseeing.  The recreational facilities — including the spa, sauna, steam room, and massage services — were a great way to unwind after a day of exploring.  The multi-cuisine restaurant offered a wonderful variety of dishes, from Chettinad curries and Hyderabadi Biryani to Kerala Appam — a real treat for food lovers.  Complimentary Wi-Fi, free parking, and helpful concierge services made the stay even more convenient.

Disappointed in this hotel. I had asked for a quiet room and was given a room next to the elevators with constant use by noisy guests. Told there were no other available. Extremely loud music playing in the hallways all day. Bathroom flooding with leaking water, no towels. Balls of hair from pervious guests on the floor. I found the food here mediocre at best, especially in the cafe. Although the hotel has classy/ritzy decoration, the rest of the experience did not reach its 4 star reputation. Poor value for the cost.
