The Pool is defunct. Repair works all around. Construction workers in the property. Property not well maintained. Perfect recipe for a disastrous holiday stay.

Lemon Tree Amarante Beach Resort, Goa, is officially listed as a 4-star property, but my experience did not match that standard. The Agoda photos are misleading: only the reception area reflects the images, while much of the rest of the property appeared to be under renovation and was inaccessible. The room itself was clean and included a small balcony, but the balcony door lock was broken and mosquitoes made the space effectively unusable. The buffet dinner was also disappointing—there was no chicken starter for non-vegetarians, the dal was watery, and the overall value felt poor at around ₹1,200. Even if the buffet is included with the booking I would avoid it, as several better dining options are within a five-minute walk. The saving grace was the service: staff members such as Jonathan and Seby were friendly and tried hard to compensate for the limited menu. The à-la-carte options may be better, though I did not try them. With numerous better hotels nearby, I would recommend considering alternatives rather than booking this resort.

Very nice stay for 2 days, staff were extremely helpful and friendly, bigger swimming pool is under renovation, kids pool is active. Breakfast and dinner was excellent.

There was a major renovation going on in the hotel, the room right below the room allocated to us was getting re constructed due to which there were constant drilling and hammer noises in our room. We would wake up to these annoying construction noises and it would go on till the evening. It completely ruined our experience. Also the pool was not operational due to renovation.
