I booked the room because of the windmill and thought that we would be in the windmill itself. It was disappointing to find that it was not the windmill itself, and I felt that the advertising was slightly misleading.

The windmill has been made into a very comfortable place. The 360° views from the bedroom are the highlight. It is a very clean place with a brilliant breakfast dropped in every day. The fruit juices were very fresh and memorable. The hosts take care to think of everything: spare towels, umbrellas, privacy curtains, a working heating system that is easy to control etc etc.
If you have movement problems and can’t manage stairs, or you don’t like secluded locations, this is not the place for you. Be prepared for unstable Azores weather and don’t expect clear blue skies every day, but nobody can control that. The hosts listened to any negative comments and took care of urgent things urgently, so there is no real “negative” anyone needs to know.

Very Special, super nice view and very beautiful, well taken care of property with a big Garden. Good breakfast.
There was a noisy construction right next to the Pool with construction workers at the Pool área all day, which made the Pool unusable. The windmill is cute but very small.

We had a perfect 2-night stay here after 3 nights in Ponta Delgada. Only a few miles away, but a different world! We were impressed by the view, the indoor space, the kitchen and especially by the responsiveness of the staff. When our entry keypad didn't work, they sent an electrician immediately. When I said we had to leave at 6:30 am for an early flight, they offered us breakfast delivery the evening before. And it was definitely worth it, because the breakfast is fabulous and plentiful. Add in a comfortable bed and a good shower and this is definitely 10/10 for us.
