    Let’s start with the good: the location is great and our bed was fluffy with crispy clean bedding. Now lets move to the bad side: the lift stops halfway between floors, which means you have to use small steps to get to your room. (If you have heavy luggage like us…getting to your room counts as a work-out!!!) The inside of the hotel appears not to have been renovated since the second world war. Or the hotel is a dusty movie set for the remake of Back-To-The-Future. But hey, on the positive side: the night reception lady was super nice and helpful!

    The description about the room on the website/booking agencies are not accurate. No toothpaste, no toothbrush, no bathrobe, no slippers, no universal sockets. I asked about the bathrobes and the slippers at the reception, they first gave me only slippers and said bathrobes weren't available. But since the room info says they come with the bathrobes so I asked, they said they would give those to me the next day. I didn't understand why they said no in the first place. The next day, no bathrobes in the room, so had to go to the reception again. Kinda annoying. Also, the shower gel ran out, they never put the new one. The AC turns off every 3 hrs or so. Terrible experience ever.

    This hotel did not feel very worth while for the money spent. Light fixtures had accumulated dust and fridge did not work much at all. It would’ve been easier to max the AC and keep a water in front of it vs using the fridge. Wooden floors near the bathtub created concerns for mold and curtain would not close all the way so water was guaranteed to leak out one way or another. I really wanted to give a local hotel the benefit vs booking a Hyatt or something mainstream. I appreciate the staff for being nice during breakfast arrival and departure and the breakfast is nice. If the price was cut in half the negatives would make more sense.
