    The hotel in a lovely safe and quiet area. Soundproof so didn't hear outside noises. Well laid out and staff very helpful . Nearby restaurants and shops. Buses nearby. Highly recommend

    Fantastic location with excellent service and a lovely room. The hotel is perfectly situated next to the Arts and Sciences Centre, with plenty of great restaurants nearby and a bus stop right outside, making it very convenient to explore Valencia. We also found free parking available on the road nearby, which was a big bonus. The staff made our honeymoon extra special by surprising us with cakes and a bottle of champagne on arrival — such a thoughtful welcome that we truly appreciated. They also kindly allowed us to check in earlier, which made our stay even more comfortable. We absolutely loved Valencia and had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Thank you so much for making our trip so memorable!

    Rating: 2/5 Stars I recently stayed at the Hotel Valencia Center, and unfortunately, the experience did not meet the expectations set by the price point. At nearly *** per night, one expects a certain standard of quality, maintenance, and hygiene, none of which were present during my stay. The Pros The only redeeming quality of this hotel is its staff. They were consistently kind, friendly, and professional. It is clear that the issues here lie entirely with management and their apparent lack of investment in the property. The staff are doing their best, but they are being undermined by a total lack of upkeep. The Cons The hotel is severely run-down and feels trapped in the 1980s. It is evident that there has been no meaningful effort to upgrade or modernize the facility. During my stay, I encountered several serious issues: Hygiene Concerns: The most unacceptable part of the stay was the presence of cockroaches in the bathroom on a daily basis. Property Condition: The hotel is in desperate need of renovation. The interior is extremely dated, and I observed signs of significant wear, including what appeared to be termite damage on wooden columns. The carpeting in the hallways is old and worn, and the furniture in the room was broken. Lack of Amenities: For the price being charged, the room was essentially stripped of basic comforts. There was no free drinking water, no coffee-making facilities, and no kettle or pot to heat water for tea. Additionally, the room lacked essentials like slippers and bathrobes. Dated Fixtures: The bathroom featured outdated plumbing and fixtures that further emphasized how long it has been since the hotel saw any real attention. Verdict It feels as though management is prioritizing profit over guest experience and property maintenance. Given the current state of the rooms and the hygiene issues, this hotel is not worth the high nightly rate. I cannot recommend staying here until substantial renovations and pest control measures are addressed.
