    Walk distance to the train/bus station. Very nice especially if you are a film fan. The hotel is modern and large.

    We found this hotel very good. We've marked the staff down because although the majority of the staff were really good, a couple in the cafeteria section were quite brusque and 'housekeeping' could have been a little better. (dirty glasses not removed and ashtray not emptied) The bed was huge and very comfortable. One of my bug-bears about modern hotels (and some houses) is the penchant for very shallow sinks and this hotel didn't disappoint! GRRR! However a really clever touch in the bathroom was the movement sensor that switched on a couple of low level lights below the sink allowing one to enter the bathroom without having to switch on the main light and the extractor fan so as not to disturb your sleeping partner, needless to say my better half took no notice and woke me up in the middle of the night! LOL! On the subject of the bathroom, the shower was very good although the hand-held part (it also had a rainfall part) tended to leave water sprayed on the floor but was very good. We didn't book breakfasts but when we saw what was available for the price we couldn't say no, it was sumptuous! I will say however that the 'hot' food (sausages, bacon etc.) wasn't as hot the second morning as the previous morning and definitely needed to be hotter. Parking is a little pricey and VERY tight (I'm a very good and experienced driver!) so beware. The hotel is in a very good location for sightseeing etc. Overall we would recommend this hotel and would consider staying again.

    As a business owner I suspect this hotel suffers from bad management as this tends to roll down through the staff. We were met with “what” when we tried to check in and an unfriendly tone. We had an issue with our booking and no attempt was made to resolve matters. Breakfast had all the parts but was souless and the staff grumpy. We did have a friendly cleaner and the interior design is nicely done but I wouldn’t hurry back!
