Chobe River Cottages

Very nice facilities and convenient location

The deck overlooking the River was sub-par. Too much vegetation in the way so there is not much of a view. Clear vegetation for improved viewing

Great location in Kasane, walkable distance to grocery stores and restaurants. Clean and comfortable. But the staff is the real value of this accommodation. We reserved in advance a Vic falls trip with them, everything went perfect. On top, my daughter left a personal item behind and the lady at the reception was kind enough to quickly ship it to our next accommodation. Thank you again very much!

This place is close to the Chobe river, and best of all it has a small private wooden deck that goes right to the shore, so that you can see the sunset over the river! The rooms are small but functional and in good shape. Each unit has its own outside entry door. Particularly cool is the little patio with a table and chairs. The property is fenced and feels very safe and cosy. The place is right in the village center, within a few minutes walking distance from the supermarket.

The units have a little kitchen, but there are no onsite food options. A restaurant (or a ready-to-order collaboration with a local restaurant) would have been very convenient. The 5 liter water bottle that was (conveniently!) given to us was not sealed. They assured us that it was fresh water, but sealed bottles in the fridge would have assured us more. An asphalted path from street to reception to unit area would simplify the carrying of large luggage. But these are details.

Attractive cottage inside and out, surrounded by a lovely tropical garden. Easy access to the deck overlooking the Chobe River. Felt safe and comfortable.
