    Brand new hotel, clean, next to the mall, supermarkets, major Metro station, loops S41, S42, S1, S2, S25, S26, U,..., definitely will stay here again.

    Visiting for 3 days as tourists the hotel is very well located in close proximity to a major station hub (train, metro. Etc) as well as a mall, with great food choices around and super markets as well as a park. Location and hotel are very safe, clean and the hotel is nice and modern. Would highly recommended and stay again.

    We hebben een prettig verblijf gehad in het Ocak Hotel. De kamer was ruim, schoon en de douche was erg goed. Ook het ontbijt was uitgebreid en lekker, daar hadden we niets op aan te merken. Helaas ging op de middag van onze tweede dag de airco lekken. Ik ben direct naar de balie gelopen om dit te melden. Er werd aangegeven dat er iemand naar zou komen kijken. In de tussentijd heb ik zelf een handdoek gebruikt om het water op te dweilen. Toen we laat in de avond terugkwamen, bleek de gebruikte handdoek te zijn meegenomen, maar de lekkage was niet verholpen. Sterker nog, de plas water was inmiddels ongeveer vijf keer zo groot geworden. Daarnaast hadden we geen schone handdoek teruggekregen. Dat een airco kapot kan gaan, kan natuurlijk gebeuren en daar heb ik alle begrip voor. Daarom ben ik opnieuw naar de receptie gegaan om te vragen of er een tijdelijke oplossing mogelijk was. Helaas werd aangegeven dat er niets aan de airco gedaan kon worden. Ook toen ik vroeg of er misschien een emmer of iets anders onder gezet kon worden om het water op te vangen, was dat niet mogelijk. Zelfs een extra handdoek konden we niet krijgen, waardoor we met twee personen één handdoek moesten delen, terwijl die ook nog nodig was om de vloer droog te maken. Uiteindelijk hebben we zelf de prullenbak onder de lekkage gezet (zie foto). Daar is gedurende de nacht ongeveer 8 cm water in terechtgekomen. Het grootste minpunt van ons verblijf was dan ook niet de defecte airco, maar de manier waarop hiermee werd omgegaan. Met een beetje initiatief of een eenvoudige tijdelijke oplossing had dit een heel andere ervaring kunnen zijn.
