Ratana Hotel Rassada, PHUKET TOWN- SHA Extra Plus

I really liked this hotel. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, with a nice sofa and thoughtful little details that make the space feel pleasant and welcoming. The bed was probably my favorite part — a really comfortable mattress, great pillows, and very good-quality bed linen. You can actually relax and get a proper rest there, which was exactly what I needed. Everything was very clean, and the pool was also lovely, clean, and comfortable to spend time around. The location worked perfectly for me personally, as I was visiting the island for business and already know the area well. Overall, I think this hotel offers excellent value for the price. It feels comfortable, cozy, and almost like a home away from home. I really enjoyed my stay.

I wouldn’t say there was anything we particularly disliked, but I would like to share a few small suggestions that could make the stay even more convenient and comfortable for guests. Since there is a microwave in the room, it would be very helpful to have at least a couple of plates available. Otherwise, if guests want to heat up some food, there is literally nothing to put it on. We have stayed at the hotel twice, and both times we had an issue with the kettle leaking. It might be worth checking the kettles in the rooms to make sure they are all in good working condition. One more small operational detail: when a room is booked for three guests, it would be great if the supplies were automatically adjusted accordingly — for example, three bottles of water, three sets of towels, and enough soap and shower gel for three people. These are very small things, but they make the experience feel even more thoughtful and comfortable. That said, we really like this hotel, and these suggestions do not change our overall impression at all. We stay here whenever we come to Phuket, and for me personally, I don’t even look for another hotel anymore. The value for money is excellent, and the hotel suits us extremely well.

The breakfast facility is provided by the cafe and bakeery adjoining the hotel. It is not included within the booked room price. The choices of breakfast are very good, from a reasonably priced menu. Breakfasts are evening meals are delivered by staff from the cafe to your hotel room The hotel and cafe staff were lovely, and the reception staff great, considerate and helpful, on my first visit to Thailand. The pool area was well kept, clean and a great place to swim and relax.
