    Beautiful hotel and beautiful surroundings. Not super central to things, but easily walkable. Clean and nice. Would love to stay here again.

    The fridge not working although they tried to fix it , I request bag stand they didn't bring it although in every room should be there without asking

    We booked 2 rooms and requested for a connecting room. When We checked in we got room 401 and 335 (at the same floor), we noticed that room 335 have connecting door inside the room. For the second night we requested to change room 401 with room 337 The night shift receptionist took a note and told us that 337 is a premium room so we had to pay 35 euros more. We agreed. But what made us feel so dissapointed was the connecting door between room 335 and 337 was locked. So what's the point that we had to pay more to get connecting room but the connecting door was locked?? I think this is a very unprofesional way of work. Why should we pay more if at the end we could not get the room connected to the room of our children ? And melia hotel duesseldorf still charge us more with the reason that 337 is a premium room with slightly bigger shower room only.
