Significantly better than average because the host likes to be a host.

Our host was there in person, gave us a warm welcome and offered his help with carrying the luggage upstairs as there is no elevator. He lives in the apartment on the top floor, seamed to be always there when we needed something without being intrusive in the least, gave us good tips and is an excellent storyteller. The old house is part of the medieval ensemble of Piran and very charming. If the apartment with the terrasse is free, take it. We were there in the middle of october and enjoyed sitting outside very much. However, if you are tall (above 1.90) mind your head because the ceiling might be a little low for you in some parts of this apartment.

Great autumn break in the heart of Piran

We spent a wonderful 4 days at this appartment.What we liked most about the accomodation was the very warm and personal welcome we received from Mitja and his continuous readiness to help out. The accomodation itself was nice, spacious and clean. The location a few steps from the heart of Piran was another bonus. We will definitely return!

Exceptional service, beautiful and well located apartment!

From the moment we arrived Mitja and his family couldn't do enough for us. We were collected from the parking garage and taken to the apartment. It was spotless, very spacious and they even gave a welcome bottle of wine. We were invited for a welcome breakfast the next morning at their apartment which was delicious with beautiful views from the terrace. My wife sprained her ankle when we were walking in Piran and Mitja without hesitation took us to the hospital and waited with us for 2 hours to take us home. It felt like we were staying with friends. If we go back to Piran this is where we will stay! Thanks again!

Incredible hospitality in a great location

The welcome and level of service we got from the hosts was beyond all expectations. They picked us up from the edge-of-town car park, had a bottle of wine waiting for us in the apartment, and invited us for a delicious breakfast on the first morning, when they shared tips on the local area and great stories about Slovenia.

The bed was a little too soft for us, and it would be nice to have had views from the windows

A lovely stay in a comfortable apartment with hosts who made us feel very welcome

Mitja and his mum were really great hosts and provided everything we needed for our stay in their apartment which overlooks Tartini Square. They prepared a welcome breakfast for us on our first morning which was very tasty and such a nice touch. The apartment itself was very comfortable and the balcony had a lounger and a table with chairs where we could enjoy the sunset in the evenings. The location is great and Mitja gave us tips on places to see and restaurants to eat in locally which were all a short walk from the apartment itself. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again in the future if we visit Piran.

Friendly and welcoming host with added personal touches. The host made the stay extra memorable and I loved my stay. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to my friends.

The decor was a bit dated but it was super clean. I am not a fan of memory foam beds but that is just a personal preference. The unit was spacious and clean and the location could not be better.

Marvellous appartment in Piran

I liked everything, it was a good "old" appartment, big, with all the conditions you need. It was practically in the Tartini Square, the lovely central square in Piran. The hosts, mother and son, are really nice and invited us for a welcome breakfast at the terrace. Piran is a beautiful place but very small but this appartment is located in the center and you can walk everywhere

The stairs as they are a lot of them but I could live with it taking care of the sympathy of the hosts

More than just an apartment!!

From the moment I booked, I received a message from our hosts Stasja and Mitja. Communication was excellent. Upon arrival, Stasja came to greet us in the main square and escorted us to the apartment. Our apartment was spacious, clean, very comfortable bed & pillows, fully equipped kitchen and more! Extra blankets, towels, big bathroom, lots of closet space and the wowww factor, a room with a spectacular view of Tartini Square!!! First thing we did in the morning was open our windows to hear the chitter chatter from the square. On our 2nd morning we were hosted to a beautiful Slovenian breakfast on the balcony of our wonderful hosts, and we also were treated to a tour with Stasja and Mitja. I can honestly say that we made 2 new friends. Stasja and her son Mitja live in the same building so they are always available. They were not just hosts but friends to us. It was hard to leave and I will cherish my experience in Piran forever.

The host was very flexible and immediately on hand to let me in and show me around. The welcome and personal approach was a nice surprise. The location is about as central as it could possibly be, with a beautiful view of the main square and the harbour.

Appartments was perfect, clean. Owner was great

The location of appartments is great, on the square of Piran so everything is so close. We had a great time and we saw dolphins! Owner prepared breakfast for us and it was really kind. It was the best Easter holidays ever!

Memorable stay!

The apartment at the great location. The host is super nice guy. He help us to carry our luggage up and down from the unit. He even fetch us to museum and drop us in Izola where we wanted to go. We have a great breakfast provided by him too. Thank you!

Amazing location and wonderful hosts! We had a great stay for NYE.

We were right in the square, which was perfect, but it was NYE and noisy. We had earplugs, so we were fine, but I needed them. The hosts were unbelievably kind and generous. They left us champagne, Christmas gifts for us and our daughter, and drove us around.

The shower was strange and when my daughter took a bath, water got in the floor. If I were them, I’d provide earplugs.

It's not just accommodation...it's your own Slovenian grandma!

Honestly, this by far exceeded all expectations we had. When booking this accommodation you're not just renting a place to stay...you get your very own Slovenian grandma. As all good grandmas, Stasja greets you on the square upon your arrival. She helps you with your luggage and shows you around your apartment. She invites you to a perfect morning breakfast in her apartment. If you need anything, she is there for you. She is well traveled, seen many parts of the world, and is happy to have a good chat with you. Apartment has all the amenities you need anyways, so what are you really getting is an unforgettable experience.

The only downside? Our stay was too short. Next time we need to come for longer :-)

Centrally located in the old town with shops, restaurants and the harbor nearby. You can get a good feel vitality of the city.

Sometimes the loud music prevented us from sleeping. Fortunately the property had soundproof windows. So we slept with the windows closed and air conditioning turned on.

Fantastic location and comfy apartment to explore and enjoy the experience that is Piran

We were met by the owner's son. And he could not have been more helpful and welcoming. The apartment is in the most amazing location, overlooking Tartini Plaza and with views across the marina. And the sun shines all day long across the inviting balcony. There is A/C to keep the inside cool. The evening sundowner is idyllic and rewarding after a day discovering the many sights of Piran and the locale. This is the best hospitality I have experienced in many, many years.

The apartment is well equipped, but would benefit with the addition of a small sofa. Otherwise you need to sit on the bed or at the kitchen table.

Perfect stay in a lovely and clean apartment in the middle of town center

Stasja and Mitja are wonderful hosts. They got in touch with us to help us with the arrival and car parking. They were very friendly, helpful and open-minded and gave us good recommendations for viewpoints, restaurants and things to do or where to go. They even surprised us with a lovely and typical breakfast in their apartment. If we ever come back to Piran, we'd love to stay with them again.

Très bien accueillis dans un grand appartement au centre de Piran.

L’appartement est grand et directement à proximité du centre du village. Ce dernier est majoritairement piéton, donc il faut se garer dans un parking à l’extérieur du village, mais l’hôte est gentiment venu nous récupérer avec nos bagages. Plus généralement, l’accueil des hôtes (Mitja et Stasja) était plus que généreux, très sympathique et accueillant.

Les appartements sont plutôt vieux, mais tout à fait fonctionnels. Ne vous attendez pas à un studio ultra moderne. Une moustiquaire sur une fenêtre serait top pour pouvoir ouvrir la nuit.

Ein toller Ausflug zum neuen Jahr

Das Apartment ist super, direkt am Hauptplatz von Piran. Aber das was es wirklich besonders macht ist die außergewöhnliche Hilfsbereitschaft und Freundlichkeit des Gastgebers, der uns geholfen hat, einen günstigen Parkplatz zu finden und auch sonst mit Rat und Tat zur Stelle war, vielen vielen Dank nochmal dafür, wir hatten einen tollen Ausflug!

Das WLAN funktionierte nur in der Küche, im Schlafzimmer überhaupt nicht, aber es war für uns kein großes Problem.
