    The room we booked was NOT managed by the hotel. It was owned by a private owner who boasted about owning ‘30 apartments in the building’ as he led us to the most awful room we’d ever seen. The actual hotel had absolutely no knowledge of us or our booking. It was completely run by this guy who was proud as punch of this awful room. A group of 4 of us had booked an ‘apartment’ that promised 5 single beds. We were taken into a tiny room with one double bed, a BED IN THE KITCHEN?!? And a COUCH - and told the couch counted as ‘one bed’. We immediately booked somewhere else to stay, a group of 4 big fellas wasn’t fitting in here whatsoever, despite the room being advertised for 5. Room was disgusting, covered in marks and stains. The bathroom and kitchen were not the same as pictured ANYWHERE in the Agoda listing. As far as I can tell, as well, the owner has removed the room option we selected for our booking. I can only assume due to the fact he’s realised it was a complete scam. The location, however, was fantastic. If you want to stay at Oak’s Hyde Park my advice would be book DIRECT with the hotel, so you don’t get stuck with a disgusting, privately owned room like we did. Thankfully Agoda support were incredibly helpful and rectified the situation. I’d 100% recommend Agoda, I’ve booked many stays with them. However, I’d simply avoid booking with whoever this man is PRETENDING to be Oak’s Hyde Park hotel.

    Hotel was in an excellent location only downside id have to say on it was we didn’t get the Hyde park view as advertised in the pics to that was abit of a let down ,apart from that it had everything you need for a short stay

    Would definitely recommend Oaks Sydney Hyde Park Suites for their service and lovely facilities! The room is spacious and love the option of having a kitchenette and balcony to enjoy the sunrise and sunset. Definitely enjoyed my stay over here and would love to stay again when given another chance. 😊

    The property was advertised as being part of the Oaks Apartments and the pictures did not reflect the room at all. The second bedroom was tiny, as was the kitchen. The dining table was sticky, the shower head broken and impossible to stand under and the outside furniture was dirty.
