Great Stay!

Carole & Jean-Jacques are great hosts, attentative to details, very knowledgeable and professional. Breakfast was amazing! Our room was very comfortable, clean and well arranged. Although we weren't able to fully use the outdoor space due to our schedule and the time of year, it is a beautiful and inviting area that would be great to enjoy and spend time. If you get a chance to stay at their inredible place, you will not regret one moment.

Very nice stay

Beautiful villa close to the city center. The property, the room, the toilet, the garden, the pool and the breakfast room are all very nice, cozy and treated in detail. The owner Carole and her husband are very kind, friendly and helpful.

A most comfortable, and homey stay in a beautiful house with a wonderful, tranquil garden

Villa Aigarden is well situated 5 minutes outside the walled town in a quiet road. Our room was very comfortable and nicely appointed with a great shower. Breakfast on the terrace was both delicious and sociable- with only three rooms conversation with the other guests is almost mandatory, and Carole was on hand to join in. But the real icing on the already delicious cake is the beautiful, peaceful garden complete with pool ( sadly too cold to use at present) and an outdoor kitchen, where we made early morning tea and sat in one of the many lovely outside areas to drink it. Jean Jaques was away but Carole was the perfect hostess - super friendly and helpful about what to do and where to go, and allowed us to practise our French, speaking slowly and clearly, whilst also of course having oerfect English. We highly recommend

Lush and cozy at the same time

The villa Airgarden was amazing, not just because of the astonishing garden, the tasteful design and the convenient location close to the city center, but especially because of the wonderful hospitality of the hosts. For two days we felt like kings in France. Carole was warm and kind, she gave us wonderful tips to enjoy Avignon and her breakfast was delicious. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone.

Perfect

Villa Aigarden is such a beautiful place. The garden is wonderful to relax in. We loved befriending the tortoises, swimming in the luxurious pool and the warm welcome provided by Carole and Jean-Jacques. They were so friendly and helpful. We ate at Cafe Roma on their recommendation (lovely) and enjoyed a beautiful local white wine sourced and supplied by Jean Jacques

Magical garden and accommodation, friendly and helpful owners, felt like living in a home

The hotel is in a quiet, unexceptional street, but when you enter the property it is magical. There is a beautiful garden with a pool, the accommodation is beautifully furnished in a contemporary way, and the owners are very engaging and helpful. It felt like visiting a family rather than staying at a hotel. Because of its small size we had the opportunity to meet other guests which added to the trip. The old city is a less than a 10 minute walk. Highly recommended!

The perfect French B&B experience

The hosts were so generous and the house is beautiful! A really relaxing space with a fantastic pool for when the weather was hot! Only a short walk into the walled city and close to the supermarket, with a kitchen for things you need.

Everything has been thought of. A stunning villa & garden.

Stunning villa and gardens. We stayed in the superior double room, which was furnished with style and quality fittings. Carole is an interior designer, and it showed. The gardens and sunbathing area were perfect, and the outdoor kitchen and dining area were superb, if you wanted to stay in one evening.

Relaxing stay where we were totally looked after

Carol and Jean-Jacques were the perfect hosts and made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. The house is beautifully decorated and has everything you need. Breakfast on the balcony was a joy each morning looking over the pool and they have a small kitchen and eating area at the bottom of the garden where you can prepare and eat any food you have bought from the town. It’s is a 10 minute walk to the city centra, so we’ll placed for visiting Avignon. Totally recommend

Wonderful guesthouse

The host goes out of her way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. She decorated the stunning house and all the rooms herself and the breakfast ist delicious. The garden with the pool is an oasis just a few hundred meters away from the town center.

Highly recommended

Everything was great! The house and garden were fab and the hosts could not be more helpful. They could not be more charming. If you want a good French experience then this is the place including an excellent and well presented continental breakfast. In good weather it is on the balcony Our room included a sitting area, bedroom and a good sized bathroom. The room had a private patio, there was a wonderful garden and a pool plus a guests kitchen with a fridge and microwave. There was also a BBQ for guests use. Our hosts organised a private secure parking garage just around the corner. Most of the restaurants are in the old town which is a short walk but do make use of the free small electric buses - a great way to get around the old town. There are some great small local towns to visit if you have a car.

Wonderful hosts who really welcome you into their beautiful home. Great breakfasts.

Huge room & excellent new bathroom. Very quiet, residential location so sleep not disturbed, although only a 10 minute walk to the City Walls. Hosts, Carole & Jean- Jacques were very warm & friendly, very helpful & gave us lots of local tips & advice, lending us maps & information leaflets at breakfast time to make sure our adventures went smoothly.

Unfortunately, our car was too long for the pre-booked garage space ( which was in the next street), and it became a problem & stressful every time we went in or out, trying not to damage it! Believe the hosts are now going to apply for a different space? Check your car measurements before booking! It does not fit a Jaguar XJ & cost us £120 for our 8 day stay. Do not rely on parking in the streets outside, they are very narrow & almost no parking spaces!

Carole & Jean-Jacques were charming hosts .Very clean tastfully decorated bedrooms Lovely gardens with a swimming pool to chill out in during your stay. Continentel breakfast served on the terrace . You have the use of a shared kitchen at the end of the garden with a fridge where you can store your wine and water e.t.c . A 5 min walk to a supermarket ,bus stop and to the ramparts, 15 min walk to a few restaurants inside the ramparts and approx 30 mins to centre of Avignon.

No water in the room on arrival. No tissues in the bathroom. More toilet paper required so you don't run out.

Einfach fantastisch!

Wunderschöne Zimmer, liebevoll dekoriert, sehr bequeme und große Betten, tolles Bad. Eine echte Oase in der Stadt mit perfekten Gastgebern. Das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet mit selbst gemachtem Joghurt, frischem Obstsalat, eigens gebackenem Brot und Marmelade vom feinsten. Wir haben tolle Tipps für Avignon und Umgebung bekommen. Vielen lieben Dank für die kleinen Gespräche auf Französisch. Wir versuchen die Sprache wieder zu erlernen. Das hat uns sehr geholfen.

Nein, es war so toll, ich kann absolut nichts finden! Nicht einmal die paar Schnaken haben gestört. Dafür gibt es ein wirkungsvolles Spray vom Haus. Alles war bestens!!!!

Sehr schöne, liebevoll gestaltete Unterkunft. Wunderschöner großer Garten mit Pool. Tolles Frühstück mit selbstgemachten Marmeladen, das auf der Terrasse mit Blick in den Garten serviert wird. Die Lage ist hervorragend, das Stadtzentrum ist in nur wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Carol und Jean Jacques nehmen sich direkt bei der Ankunft richtig viel Zeit, um einem alles zu erklären und die besten Tipps für Avignon zu geben.

Alles! Ein Juwel in Avignon- Jean-Jacques & Caroles Willkommen heissen, die guten Tipps für Restaurants, Unternehmungen mit dem Fahrrad in der näheren Umgebung um Avignon. Die Nähe ( Gehdistanz ) zur Altstadt. Parkplatzmöglichkeit in einer Nachbargarage fürs Auto, Garage für die Fahrräder direkt im Haus. Das feine Frühstück in auserlesenem Ambiente drinnen und draussen. Leider konnten wir Wetterbedingt den schönen verwunschenen Garten mit Pool nicht nutzen.

Carole und Jean-Jacques waren wundervolle, kultivierte Gastgeber. Wir hatten sofort das Gefühl, unter Freunden zu sein. Wir haben sehr gute Tipps bekommen, die unseren Aufenthalt unvergesslich gemacht haben. Es war ein herrlicher Besuch in einer wunderbaren Stadt. Das Gästehaus ist eine Oase, das Frühstück auf der Terrasse ein einziger Genuss. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Visitare Avignone e sentirsi a casa

Casa di grande fascino arredata con attenzione e gusto. I proprietari ci tengono a farti sentire il benvenuto. Ottima la colazione servita sul terrazzo. Splendido giardino con piscina e cucina attigua utilizzabile dagli ospiti. I padroni di casa, gentili e premurosi fanno la differenza.

A quand la prochaine fois ;-) ?

C'est la seconde fois que nous séjournons dans cet établissement composé uniquement de 3 chambres. Carole et Jean-Luc nous reçoivent chez eux avec goût, professionnalisme, générosité et qualité. Le site est un écrin de verdure avec piscine où tout est fait pour que nous puissions nous sentir à l'aise : mise à disposition d'une cuisine d'été équipée (dont vaisselle), de petites ou grande tables et chaises pour déjeuner en extérieur, d'un réfrigérateur, d'un fonds d'épicerie dont café/thé et produits anti-moustiques. Les 2 chambres (Garance et Safran) que nous avons occupées sont très confortables avec une belle et bonne literie. Elles sont décorées avec de beaux matériaux et sont très chics sans être non plus ostentatoires. La piscine est bien entretenue et constitue un vrai plus. Les hôtes sont charmants et c'est un plaisir de discuter avec eux au petit déjeuner qui est servi en terrasse. il est excellent et composé de confitures maison, de salé, de sucré et de pain frais varié. Bref, un délice et une envie de retourner dès l'an prochain dans ce havre de paix.
