Absolutely beautiful location . Loved the tiny house - everything was perfect . Really appreciate the wine and chocolate. Views were outstanding!

Amalú was one of the highlights of our Costa Rica trip. The views are absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunrise and sunset, and the cabins are beautiful, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed. We loved the private hot tub, the floor-to-ceiling windows, and feeling surrounded by nature while still having all the comforts of a luxury stay. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the laundry service was such a convenient bonus during our road trip. The location was perfect for exploring Monteverde while still feeling like a secluded retreat. We truly didn’t want to leave.
Honestly, very little. The drive up is steep and winding, but that’s part of Monteverde and well worth it once you arrive. We would have loved to stay an extra night!
