Cabañas Refugio Verde Monteverde

Everything, location was great especially for the night walk which is next door , the facilities were great and very very clean , we loved sitting on the balcony listening to the sounds of the jungle , the owner was great with communication and even organised 2 trips for us which we recommend trying ( waterfalls and zip lining) , very quiet and safe location, just a tip if you are staying here , the area can be a little colder in the evening so maybe plan for that

Having to leave

Our first impressions were really positive. The communication with the host was excellent, the key is kept in a lock box next to the front door and we were even able to check in two hours early. The apartments are in an attractive setting with parking right next to them. They are large, clean and well-equipped. The whirlpool is a lovely extra although we actually didn't get time to use it but we did enjoy sitting outside on the balcony with a view of woodland and garden. The Monteverde Brewing Company is a 5-minute walk away and we spent two evenings there enjoying their beer, food and atmosphere. Monteverde itself is a 5-minute drive away. We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay and would definitely recommend.

I found the lighting in the apartment very dim. This is the only thing which, for me personally, wasn't perfect. Everything else was fantastic.

Nice room with lovely balcony, very private. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and even a relaxing jacuzzi tub.

Need a dimmer on the overhead lighting. It’s Too bright. Also, Bathroom has a slight odor, possibly from the plumbing, although fixtures worked fine.

Top! Mooie ruime woning, fijn bed en voorzien van alle gemakken. En een hottub!!! Heerlijk!!
