Urraca Monkey Island Eco Resort

Ein einzigartiges Erlebnis, wirklich magisch. Kein Quadratmeter fester Boden, nur Mangroven und eine Holzkonstruktion auf Stelzen. Wie in Waterworld. Rochen und Ammenhaie schwimmen unter dem Schlafzimmer hindurch und man kann die Langusten für das Abendessen beobachten. Obwohl die Hütten aus groben Planken gezimmert sind, fühlt es sich unglaublich luxuriös an. Tolle Gastgeberinnen und gutes Essen (allerdings auch für die Inseln gehobenes Preisniveau). Die Möglichkeit, direkt mit den Affen in Kontakt zu treten, ist natürlich auch etwas ganz besonderes…

This place is truly magical. Francine is a real one and feels like and old friend the moment you meet her. She has created something special here that I'm not sure you can describe with words. Its a vibe. The bungalows are super cute and built in the local style, the meals are amazing, the staff are awesome. I'm not sure I've ever been so relaxed in my life. And the monkeys are the cherry on top. We travel a lot and try to pick unique stays. Urraca is in the convo for our fav for sure. I can't recommend a stay here enough! You'll never want to leave.

I do not have words to describe this magical place. I can honestly say one of the best days of my life. The place is amazing, the food was so tasty. We had a great time kayaking and attempting the peddle boat... But, the Monkeys, were the reason I came. Francine is an inspirational woman, who loves and cares for these gorgeous animals like no other. I am still speechless, Thank You for such an amazing experience

Not a thing

Das Resort hat eine schöne Lage und gemütliche Bungalows. Die meisten Affen sind leider in Käfigen was uns nicht sehr gefiel. Das Essen ist viel zu Teuer und für den Preis gibt es zu kleine Portionen. Leider hat unser Ventilator nicht funktioniert so war es in der Nacht sehr heiss. Die Gemeinschafts Esstische fanden wir super da es immer eine gute Stimmung gab.
