Walk to Ocean: Coastal Surfside Beach Bungalow!

This was a fully furnished bungalow. We were able to bring groceries and cook several of our own meals. We actually had to weather a tropical storm and it was a sturdy and durable place to be during the storm. The very most impressive thing was the caretaker for the property came over and created a brick walkway for us to get to our car as the area flooded with the torrential rains. She did this without being asked She sent me pictures showing what they had done. I believe that's going above and beyond to take care of your customers and I very much appreciated that!! This has very close proximity to the beach and the jetties if you like fishing. The beaches are not really a place where you can spread a towel out and lay down. We did enjoy swimming when we were able after the storm. Everything was supplied coffee snacks bottled water plenty of towels toilet paper etc. Even trash bags. Also cleaning items were available so you could clean while you were there. If you're looking for a relaxing environment to spend some time with family this is a good option at a very affordable price.

About the only negative was the beach It is not much as far as being able to stay on the beach. I don't know if it was storm surge since we got there during a tropical storm for the first couple of days. But there's really not a sandy area of dry sand. You can get out on the beach but you're immediately in the water most of the time. There are good waves for surfing if you like surfing.
