We stayed at Reed Loft for a week in August. Overall it's a great property with the added bonus of your own Swimming Pool and Sauna. Its much bigger than the photos show especially on the 1st floor! It's well maintained and the kitchen is equipped with everything needed for a relaxing holiday. We stayed during a heatwave which was great but the upper floor was uncomfortably hot even with the floor fans going. The road to the property is mainly single track which was quiet most days but needed care when encountering oncoming cars/tractors etc.

We stayed for 5 nights in Reed Loft - an amazing property with 3 en-suite bedrooms - an upstairs sitting room, and a downstairs kitchen/dining room/sitting room, and a downstairs bathroom, as well as a beautiful swimming pool, and an outdoor area with picnic tables to relax. The house was spotlessly clean and had everything you need for a relaxing stay. The house is located in the beautiful countryside a short drive from Canterbury, with beautiful walks through the fields and woodland all signposted. It's also ideally located for daytrips to many of the best places to visit in Kent. If you're booking this property (or others in the Kent area) we recommend you check out Keepers Cottages first as we saved £500 by booking through them as opposed to other accommodation websites. We were about to book through another website when we found Keepers Cottages online. At first we couldn't believe it was so much cheaper, and we thought there must be a snag. But to our delight, there was no snag - Keepers Cottages is a small family run business that produces a high quality service for much less than the bigger online companies, and because they're family based, there's a more personal feel to everything they do. I'll definitely be checking out Keepers Cottages next time we're visiting Kent, and I'll be recommending them to my friends.

We stayed a week and had a wonderful time. The cottage is warm (possibly too warm) and inviting. The location is very rural and very peaceful but only 15 mins from Canterbury. The single track roads with the suicidal pheasants were a little hair raising at first. The owners gardens which you could see from the swimming pool but not access are stunning. The dogs loved the safely fenced garden/enclosed parking area we could access. The beds, pillows and duvets were all clean and comfy (high praise, I'm pretty fussy). The whole cottage has been recently decorated. There were a few minor niggles (washing machine problems and a bathroom lock jammed ) which the friendly customer service team dealt with quickly. The only negatives, no shaver sockets to plug in the electric toothbrush. The swimming pool was decidedly chilly especially early in the morning, though the fantastic sauna did help to negate that a bit. We had no access to the pool temperature settings, it said it was heated to 30C but it seemed a lot colder than that. It is a lovely pool and the temperature was ok for swimming but our toddler couldn't stay in for long.
