Plenty of room

No lights out where the hot tub is

Short distance to the town centre, but on a main road, next to a level crossing. Welcome package was a nice touch. Host was on site when we arrived, and kindly enabled us to check in early.

Excessive amount of furniture, and beds were made up for 14 people .... we were a small group of 4! All furnishings were old and generally tatty. The dining table was very rickety, and the legs were filthy. What might have been useful bedside lamps didn't have bulbs, or didn't work. They were also full of dead bugs. We had no internet during our 2 day stay. The host told us the network was down, but when I looked at the Three website, it showed no issues for the property postcode. There were plenty of towels at the property, but none were put out, we had to look for them. We had no teatowels. When I asked the host, I was told the previous guests had ruined them, so we had to manage without! We found beer bottle tops in the hot tub, and also in a couple of other places in the property. During the hot weather we had a big problem closing the back door. All in all, a very disappointing stay 😕
