Harriet House B&B

We had a lovely stay at Harriet House Bed & Breakfast in Canterbury. The location is excellent, within easy walking distance of the city centre, making it a really convenient base for exploring Canterbury. Heidi and Paul were really pleasant and welcoming throughout our stay. When the shower in our room played up, they moved us to another room without any fuss at all, which we really appreciated. They struck the perfect balance of being friendly and helpful without ever being intrusive. Breakfast was lovely, with plenty to choose from. I’d particularly recommend the Eggs Benedict, the homemade granola and the homemade marmalade — all excellent. A comfortable, welcoming B&B in a great location, with lovely hosts and a very good breakfast. We would definitely recommend Harriet House and would happily stay again.

Breakfast was spot on even when I got it wrong. Location reasonable distance from town centre. Heidi and Paul couldn’t do enough for you.

Location was perfect for exploring Canterbury. Hosts are very nice! Room was spitlessly clean and comfortable.

The breakfast was plentiful but not things I personally like to eat.

Wonderful stay – highly recommended We had a wonderful stay at Harriet House. The hosts (Heidi & Paul) are exceptionally warm, cheerful and welcoming, while at the same time being extremely professional – a combination that made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Our room was lovely and comfortable, the whole house has a very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere, and the breakfast was absolutely excellent – fresh, delicious and prepared with great care. What really makes Harriet House special, however, is the genuine hospitality. You can feel that Heidi & Paul truly enjoy welcoming their guests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Highly recommended!
