Piazza del Mercato

The building is an old renovated palazzo with tastefully decorated rooms, steep staircases, modern bathrooms and a great atmosphere. The guys working at the downstairs coffee bar are super friendly and accomodating, doing the check-in and caring sbout the place. I loved the detail of the interior design & the view of the piazza. Aircon, fridge, hairdryer were available in the rooms (my bathroom was across from my room but private). Everything is well maintained and looks almost new. The entire place was super clean. Communication via the app was smooth. Would come back in a heartbeat!

Its position in the superb central piazza of L’Aquila which means overlooking the square and breakfast on the piazza as L’Aquila wakes up. Very comfortable bed. Don’t worry about blocking off sound in the room when people are drinking outside as the windows and inside shutters soundproof effectively. As L’Aquila gradually remerges from its devastating earthquake in 2009(?) , this is the time to visit to support both its reawakening and return to tourism before it gets too popular!

Not a dislike, but be prepared to have to walk across the tiny staircase to your own bathroom, perhaps something to wear when needing to relieve yourself in the middle of the night.

Location in pieno centro, pulizia eccellente, il proprietario gentilissimo e vista dalla stanza davvero stupenda. Tornerò sicuramente! Grazie Simone.

Segnalo che il bagno privato è fuori dalla stanza e le scale sono un po’ strette ma alla fine non è stato un problema!

Camera spaziosa ma hanno dimenticato per terra asciugamani sporchi. Peccato!
