Good location but not up to the standard expected.

The location was good for easy access to central Nimes. It was quiet at night and spacious.

The bed only had a sheet, no duvet. It may have been unseasonably cool but we had to use the sheet from the other bed to be comfortable. The furnishing was sparse and basic at best and a number of kitchen units had damaged hinges and the curtain pole was hanging off the wall in the bedroom. The shower head bracket was broken so could only be used as a hand shower. Crockery was mixed and chipped and only one ‘sharp’ knife; not even a bread knife ( this is France for goodness sake). The main issue though was the parking. Yes it was secure but shared with 4/5 full time residents. It was also the children’s back yard and a couple of young girls insisted on riding their bikes between the parked cars. I almost moved my car to a public car park which would have really defeated any advantage for this property.

We were only there one night thankfully. The location was handy for town but it was not a pleasurable stay

The location was good. The kitchen was the best room in the house. Clean and well equipped. The actual shower pressure was good. It was spacious with nice tall windows and lovely tiled floors. Has the potential to be a great apartment but needs some TLC

The shower container and shower mixer were dirty. The towels were like cardboard and poor quality. The sofa had lots on stains on it. There was a dirty ash tray on the little balcony table. The beds had no duvets only a sheet over them. I was told the duvets were in the Dry Cleaners and to turn up the heating if cold. Not ideal as it was the end of September and cold at night. We were only given one key safe code which was for the apartment. However you needed another key safe code to open the property gates. As the road is very narrow we had to drive around the streets 3 times before the host got back to us with the actual gate code. No apology or explanation given for the lack of information.

Stylish comfort near station

Spacious, clean, airy apartment about 10 mins walk from the train/ bus station and about 15 mins walk into the historic centre. The property is as described and check in instructions were clear. Carrefore 5 min walk away. The property is in a gated community so there is a nice family feel with children playing and old ladies hanging out their washing. Fairly quiet too. On the whole we were comfortable as there is a well equipped kitchen and a good shower. The mattress was comfy but see below for more on that. Plenty to see in Nîmes and we also took a bus out to Pont du Gard another day.

There were only 2 of us so we were able to use the blanket from the other bedroom’s bed otherwise we would have been cold with just one sheet and one thin blanket! I would suggest adding a duvet or more blankets for this time of year (late September) as the temperature really dropped at night. I notice other guests have also suggested this.

Quick stopover in Nimes

The property was clean and tidy and the off street parking was excellent. The walk into town was only 10 - 15 mins which is pretty easy.

I was a little bit nervous on the walk home at night after being in town. The street lighting was poor and I was pleased not to be walking alone.

There was not much immediately around the apartment, maybe a 10 minute walk, which was nice for noise.

Great parking, needs maintenance

Location was close to Nimes attractions. Parking was very convenient and secure. Shower was clean.

Floors were dirty and not mopped. Mirror in bathroom fell off the wall and broke. None of the doors latched and the doorknobs were all broken. My 1-year old son was locked in the small bedroom for a short time while the doorknob wouldn't engage the latch. There was only one dishwashing tablet for a 2 night stay and very small dishwasher. The towl rack in the bathroom was loose. There were extension cords powering most of the electronics, not very safe for small children.

Great location and convenient apartment

The apartment was well located, very nice and cozy , and the private parking (in a gated yard) made it so easy for us to explore the city without worrying about parking/traffic. The host was quick to respond and helpful.

Pretty nice apartment

Nice apartment with a great vintage sense of style. Perfect closed parking and very comfy bedrooms (though one of them doesn't have any windows). Very convenient location -- not exactly the city center, but not outskirts either.

One of the bedrooms doesn't have a window. Besides, it was rather cold without blankets when we stayed. The host probably doesn't speak English, so she send the check-in instructions in French in a pic, so we couldn't use Google translate and had to guess what to do.

Great place to stay.

Beautiful period apartment with large rooms. Overlooks a courtyard with plenty of space to park. Very convenient for centre of Nimes (15 min walk). Really appreciated the air conditioning as it was very hot. Very well equipped kitchen.

Very good

It was a bit hot and stuffy when we entered (we arrived in the middle of a summer heatwave), but we opened all the windows (including the expansive windows with electronic blinds that open on the courtyard) and this really helped -- and made the living room into a very pleasant space to have dinner and breakfast.

I initially confused the 4-digit PIN code provided by Booking.com with the 4-digit code for the gate and 4-digit code for the house key. This meant we needed to park at some distance while I read the instructions more carefully (and I also tried to contact the host). It did not take long, however, to sort out which code belonged where, and we were able to enter and re-enter without problem.

Peu faire beaucoup mieux pour très peu d'investissement

Propreté irréprochable et très joli dallage. Situation dans la ville très bien surtout avec le parking privé très accessible.

Plusieurs problèmes remontés (dans une chambre tringle à rideau prête à tomber, éclairage plafond HS, literie du lit de 160 trop petite, dans la cuisine porte élément du haut prête à tomber rendant le placard inutilisable) et aucune intervention malgréce qui a été dit. 4 assiettes pour 4 personnes sur 6 jours donc 2 lave-vaisselle/jour, même chose pour les verres 3 flûtes pour 4, pas de couteau qui coupe vraiment, etc... Un peu de maintenance et d'équipement auraient rendu notre séjour parfait ! Dommage...

Redelijk dichtbij het centrum. Eigen parkeerplaats. Makkelijk inchecken.

Er miste een airconditioning of tenminste een ventilator in de 2e slaapkamer.

Optimaal tot rust komen na een lange reis.

Geen uitgebreid incheck proces. De sleutels lagen in een sleutelkastje. Bij binnenkomst op het binnenplein voldoende parkeerplaats. Eenmaal binnen in het appartament stond de airco al aan en was alles lekker fris opgeruimd en hygienisch. Goed uitgeruste keuken. Echt een top accomodatie. Volgend jaar als we weer op doorreis naar Spanje zijn boek ik het weer.

Extra bedlinnen voor op de slaapbank in de woonkamer.

Sa situation géographique, le parking à disposition, la propreté et l’ensemble des commodités mises à disposition. La facilité d’accès via la communication avec la propriétaire.

A titre personnel, la literie pas assez ferme mais pas de souci pour un court séjour.

Appartement cosy au coeur de Nimes

Appartement avec un cachet authentique ; on a bien aimé les trés jolis carreaux de ciment d'origine, avec des espaces adaptés et dans un quartier calme. Propre et climatisé - tout le confort pour un agréable séjour à 15 minutes à pied seulement des arenes ; en ce sens le parking est un vrai plus et permet de laisser la voiture en toute sécurité pour silloner à pied le centre. Propriétaire arrangeante ; on a pù récupérer les clefs plus tôt que prévu. Merci !!!

Bien situado, con garaje, lugar tranquilo.

Pequeños detalles como que no había suficientes bolsas de basura. Tampoco había mantas, aunque la calefacción funcionaba perfectamente, pero es una pena tener que poner más la calefacción por falta de unas mantas.

Das Appartement war schön und der abgeschlossene Parkplatz vor dem Haus war sehr gut. Die Ausstattung der Küche (besonders das Geschirr) könnte etwas besser sein. Wir konnten das Geschirr dann nicht einmal zwischendurch spülen, weil es kein Geschirrtuch gab… Die Kommunikation war gut und wir haben alles so vorgefunden, wie beschrieben.
