Great setting in the centre but on a quiet road. Views were beautiful, as were the gardens. Room was beautifully decorated with everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious. After a slight mishap on the morning of our departure, the owner went out of his way to drive me to a bike shop 8 miles away so we could continue on our journey.

I received a very warm welcome from Chris after following the brilliantly thought out pictorial instructions from the town After a brief chat I was shown to my room which was large and airy with a good contemporary bathroom. I would describe the decor as quirky and it made me smile! The bed was super comfy. The location is simply spectacular, a beautiful garden with lofty views of mountains and the town. I didn't have time to explore the whole garden but it would be well worth a couple of hours exploring and I'm sure you'd find a quiet spot to sit quiet and enjoy! I enjoyed a tasty cooked breakfast with plenty of toast and a wide range of cereals and fruit. Chris and Louise offer their beautiful home and gardens with a obvious love of the job and the house. It was a pleasure to be allowed to share it with them and I shall return for more of their hospitality!
