Great location which is well situated to allow you to visit the surrounding areas whilst being close to places to eat etc. Secure parking is a big bonus as well. The hosts are extremely helpful and went the extra miles to accommodate one of our requests.

The room was very cozy and warm and exceptionally clean. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The bathroom and shower was functional and clean. All the heaters worked and the hot water was easy to use.

Exceptional Hosts in an a cosy & well appointed cottage. Kevin & Caroline could not have been more helpful, the breakfasts delicious or the facilities better.

The property is excellent but being adjacent to the road, occasionally, some noise maybe heard.

A short but very enjoyable stay.

Caroline and Kevin couldn’t have been more welcoming. A blip with the hairdryer was sorted out immediately. The breakfast was delicious. Would certainly book again.

Kevin and Caroline are lovely people, very welcoming and helpful. The room was very comfortable and spacious. Excellent shower. Very good cooked breakfast. Very secure parking at rear behind locked large metal doors. Dolgellau is a nice town with many restaurants and bars.

A friendly, warm welcome into a very homely and comforting environment. We instantly felt completely at home. A gorgeous, relaxed breakfast. This is B&B at it's very best for me. A very good location in the town with excellent, secure parking and easy access to all the local facilities.

Lovely character cottage

Stayed at Aber cottage for the Trek26 charity walk, the property is perfectly situated for this event and is in the heart of the town. Caroline and Kevin were perfect hosts and couldn't do more for me. Room was clean and tidy, and was perfect for my stay. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay at Dolgellau or in the surrounding area.

Caroline and Kevin were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and light. Amazing hot powerful shower- perfect after a long day cycling. Very central location and right opposite a charming pub with delicious pizza.

Most delightful experience in a centrally located cottage room with superb breakfast

Perfectly located in the centre of town with good parking. The room had so much character and was spotlessly clean with an amazingly powerful shower and comfortable bed. Our hosts are very friendly and helpful people and the breakfast was quite simply one of the best we have had on any overnight stay. First class.

The room and dining area was lovely. Facilities were spot on, with places for muddy boots and wet gear too.

Our double room was well furnished but the bed was a bit small for us. It was a muggy night so windows had to be open and road noise was an issue.

A great place to stay

Caroline & Kevin were great hosts and I found my room very comfortable. The WiFi was good. Aber Cottage is in a pretty central location. I may have originally asked for parking but in the end I did a car share. I was part of a walking group & I would definitely book with Aber Cottage again.

Guaranteed parking in the centre of Dolgellau is not easy to find, so that's definitely a bonus. It's a small B&B which meant it was nice and quiet.

A great base in Dolgellau with fantastic hosts

Booked this as we were running the Cader Idris mountain race. So glad we did. Caroline and Kevin were amazing hosts - nothing was too much trouble. The location was perfect - as were the breakfasts. Really can’t recommend enough and can’t wait to go back!

Location is perfect. In town, so easy access to shops, pubs and restaurants in the evening. Secure parking is a real bonus and ideal as we are on a motorbike. Spacious family room, lovely breakfast and fantastic hosts.

A brilliant b and b. Excellent food and a warm welcome

The b and B was in the perfect location for our planned walks. The property was tastefully decorated with everything thought about by the to ensure our stay was faultless. From the fresh Welsh cakes and hot drink when we arrived, fresh milk in the fridge for us to the superb breakfast the next day ensured we were looked after like royalty.

It was a lovely stay with friendly owners

The owners were so friendly, couldn’t do enough for you, it was positioned wonderfully. The breakfast was really nice and the room was clean with a comfortable bed, there was also parking at the rear that was secure

Cycling trip

We were mountain biking the Traws Eryri and here at the Aber Cottage we found the comfort we needed after some hard mountain biking (no e-bike). It was all great, especially Kevin and Caroline, very friendly and attentive.
