Fabulous trip in a unique property!

Maja and Zarko were excellent hosts - sorted out what you needed and were kind and friendly. Building was novel and idilic. Good facilities including smart TV. Good shower. Great location with a nice view from bed. Only 5 min drive to town. Lots of fun activities in the area.

Perfect stay at Maja and Zarko’s

We cannot express how much we loved staying at this house. Maja and Zarko are the perfect hosts. Super friendly and warm. I stayed in the cabin with two friends. Zarko met us at checkin and we felt right at home because of his warmth and consideration. Maja was always very responsive communicative, and proactive. She recommended some restaurants which we tried and found great. The cabin itself is v beautifully furnished, clean, and with everything needed. It is close to the black lake and other Durmitor park highlights. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return again definitely.

Lovely stay in Durmitor

The host was already waiting for us when we arrived and welcomed us. Contact with the hosts was great and easy. We had a short power outage, but it soon came back and Maja informed us properly and on time. We had great days in the small but so so cozy house! <3

Lovely house in the middle of the forest

Lovely property. I would guest for the stay in the city, middle in the woods, necessary a car to go to the village but perfect for a nature adventure. Owners really nice people and provided info for eating and drinking, lovely house

Perfect cozy mountain house, we highly recommend to stay here!

We loved everything: nice secluded location, very comfortable mountain house with great facilities (incl. kitchen, electric fireplace), very well designed and thought out, very well kept and spotlessly clean! Cozy place to relax - we enjoyed our stay a lot :) Very friendly and welcoming hosts, providing a lot of helpful and good recommendations for food and activities, generously providing us delicious fresh fruits as well; great communication - thank you Maja and Zarko!

This house was the perfect experience for living in a house on the mountain! The house itself was very neet & clean. And you can see Maja & Zarko’s attention to details in every spot of the house, that you feel like you lives in this perfect little house all your life. You felt like you’re in a secluded spot, covered with the beauty of nature, while you can get anywhere in 5 min. (By car). This was an amazing experience for both me and my wife.

We needed to get used to sleeping on the second floor while the bathroom was on the first floor, but other than that, everything was perfect.

Clean house, quiet area, short distance to all attractions

Location is excellent, very close to Black Lake and city centre. Tara Bridge is only 30minutes away. The place is really well equiped, the host is very friendly and quick to respond to any questions you may have!

A little piece of tranquility

What a fabulous and special place. It was really peaceful and remote but close to a town with supermarkets and restaurants. Although the kitchen was so well equipped that we cooked each night. Close to the walks too and Tara Canyon is about a 30 minute drive away. Really recommend this lodge!

I was expecting a bit more for the price, but it was a great stay. If I could give some recommendations would be to add a full size mirror somewhere and more sockets in the bedroom.

Fabulous little cabin in a very peaceful location. Cosy and amid wonderful wildlife. Amazing bedroom.

Window or patio doors downstairs that reached floor so could see outside when sitting down, but didn't spoil stay.

The cottage is very nice, it was really close to the town which has restaurants and supermarket, it was quiet and nice.

We had a house in the backyard that while is not a problem we wished a more isolated area, that was a bit of the downside, but the area was quiet and nice for resting!

We came in April and everything was perfect except bathroom. It was very cold there. Carpet was also missing and stepping on cold tile with bare foot when leaving shower was challanging.

Great stay in nature chalet

The host was very nice and polite, she even gave us some complementary wine, fruit and a towel change during our stay. The house had very good electricity, warm water and WiFi. The location was great, very close to the town but also remote enough to have a very peaceful stay!

It was a bit smaller than we expected, the photo depicted a bigger house which was the chalet next to us. No problem however

Great accommodation with a super friendly host. It's located a few minutes from town in nice secluded forrest that really gives you fantastic feel of Durmitor and surrounding nature. Great location close to the city but still in the middle of the forest. You will find in this house everything you need and will receive a warm welcome from the owners and, cherry on the cake, a nice bottle of wine 😊 Bed is very confortable, house is clean, we didn’t want to leave! Location was great, lovely and peaceful and just a short drive from Zabljak for shops and restaurants. Lovely cosy cabin with everything you could need. We really enjoyed our stay, the property was warm, comfortable and met all our needs. We thoroughly recommend.

Winter Wonderland and perfect for walks

What a sweet cosy place, perfect for families or couples. You can get to the black lake quickly and there are lots of good walks nearby. The beds are comfy and there's a TV and cooking facilities. The owner was fantastic, so helpful. We got our car stuck in the snow and their friend came to drive us out. The best place we stayed on our trip!

It's a beautiful house and Maja is lovely. I would definitely stay again and recommend. As previous reviews mention, you are only 5 mins from town to get everything you need but you are in the middle of nature. Very comfortable and clean. We loved it.if it's available when you want it then don't hesitate, just book it.
