Very neat, clean and spacious cottage. Well equipped kitchen. Great location. Free and fast WiFi. We had a really lovely stay here.
There were no parking instructions prior to arrival, which caused some confusion, but they were in the welcome guide inside the cottage.
Minor nit-pick, but the top rack of the dishwasher unfortunately did not wash anything, so we had to just make do with the bottom rack.

Very warm and welcoming, clean and cozy with an amazing attention to detail 😊 couldn't ask for anything better, thank you for a lovely stay, the owners should be proud of what they offer, we only wanted somewhere close to the Rutland for our sons wedding, we were given a lot more than we anticipated.
We didn't book for longer

Lovely property, great location, we loved the living room with its high ceilings and beautiful original features.
Lumpy pillows; main mattress needs updating / not the best sleep. Rusty kitchen utensil.

The location was absolutely amazing.
The lack of parking. Trying to find a space to park was a bit of a nightmare.

Fantastic location for access to bakewell and local walks. It was a well equipped house and the little extras left by the hosts were greatly appreciated. The courtyard was perfect for getting together with family and chatting in the beautiful weather.
The towels smelled funky and the bin lid was broken.

Lovely pretty and characterful cottage packed with charm and nestled in a delightful courtyard. It had all mod-cons and some very thoughtful extras for our stay. It was very clean and peaceful.
We liked most of it! Only slight difficulty was parking as both evenings we returned late and had a little trouble finding somewhere to leave the car round the village, however, it was midnight on a weekend so might not be any issue at other times.

Right in the middle of Bakewell making it convenient to walk the town and also easy access to the Peak District. While it is an older building, the home has been recently and tastefully renovated. The welcome gift was also a very nice touch. This was our last stop on. 2 month visit to the English countryside and it was a fitting finale.
Parking can be tricky but we always found a spot close by.

The location was very handy for all Bakewell has to offer and further afield.

The Cottage is so dream like with the owners making sure that it kept its olde charm but mixed with modern twists. Everything about this place is a 10 out of 10. Even when it’s cold and raining outside, you just loved coming back to the cosiness that this accommodation provides. Having a your main bedroom downstairs was really quirky. The upstairs bedroom has a walk in wardrobe. The upstairs bedroom is connected to the lounge and kitchen by a wonderful wooden landing. The kitchen has all the mod cons and is designed to a high standard. There are plenty of utensils and cooking pans if you feel you need to stay in to cook. The lounge dinner is perfect for a couple or two couples. The owners welcome pack was a really nice surprise. The property comes with a parking permit and there is ample parking nearby, either official car parks about 5 mins away, which are security secure, or gamble on the street parking with the locals, but remember this parking is limited to areas around Bakewell and so you car could be more than 5 minutes walk away. We stayed for four nights and did not have any problems.

Beautifully decorated. Excellent facilities. Couldn’t think of anything it didn’t have!
Our only concern was lack of parking. The permit helped but still difficult to find a space.

Parking, but we knew this in advance

The cottage itself is lovely, it's comfortable, clean, and well appointed. The location is also excellent, a short walk from the centre of town.
You will likely have to park a ways away from the cottage. This is just the nature of the town and no fault of the hosts, just a consideration. The hosts provide a parking permit to allow you to park for free in most areas however.

Perfect location for all town amenities. Own breakfast.
Initial access was confusing - not enough specific information was given beforehand, resulting in a rather panicky, stressful experience on arrival, as a mere 10 minute limit for stopping to unload was permitted.
Was able to unlock outside store area, but not able to lock up again.
Quite difficult to find parking in the surrounding streets.

Robin’s nest is lovely and excellently located
accommodation. It is comfortable and furnished with a lot of thought and taste. Although in courtyard with shops it is vey quiet in the evening. The location is great to access restaurants and shops in Bakewell. Julie and Rik are great hosts which thoughtfully passed all needed info in great detail and in time.
We are a party keen on cooking so we foule that kitchen could benefit from more crockery, salade bals and plates. Dishwasher is not fixed well to it’s place so it tends to move and rattle plates
and glasses.

Location was great. Owners were there to help before, during and after stay. Was really quiet at night and bed sofas were comfy.
Would have better to have a mop and bucket to help tidy the place. Also a fan to keep rooms cool as we went in hot weather.
