Apartamento Vilaflor.

Great central location near to restaurants and local amenities. The property was clean and tidy and very quiet. The property has everything needed for a comfortable walking holiday. Perfect for couple or a single person.

There is obviously a small problem with the electricity at the property and if both cooker hob elements are switched on the electricity would overload and flick the circuit breaker leaving the property in darkness. The property is tricky to find so good communication and directions from the owner is absolutely necessary. We had to put new batteries into the aircon controller to make it work, there were three controllers and only one had batteries in and they ran out on day one, but not a great issue.

The location is perfect for anyone looking to go hiking in Teide N.P. Right next door. We did a couple hikes without need for the car as they start right in the village. The village is quiet, above the clouds, away from the tourist noise. The host helped us with an issue with the cooker promptly. The beds were comfy The apartment had good heating facilities, it was cold at night up there.

The cooker didn't always work without cutting off the mains power and resetting. A microwave would be useful in the kitchen.

This newly renovated apartment is good value close to the attractions around Vilaflor. The chickens beside the access lane were a friendly welcoming committee.

The apartment is reasonably equipped but could use a quieter fridge and a corkscrew. Finding and then accessing the apartment wasn’t easy. Please ask the proprietor for an orientation photo of the obscure, unsigned access door. The Nuki smart lock app that I needed to download was not intuitive to use: The ‘open door’ function was buried in a sub-menu.
