Perfect lake side location.

The warm and very generous welcome from Carla and Stefan was just the beginning of our 4 day stay in this perfectly located apartment on the shores of Lake Orta. The quiet still calm of the lake was ever present, the easy walk into Orta San Guilio along the shore of the lake was very special. Our host Carla generously shared her local knowledge and enthusiasm of restaurants, coffee, food outlets and all things lago d orta!

Due to the accident my husband had on accessing the property, he was hospitalised and I only stayed one night at the pro

Location- proximity to lake and to the village of San Giulio

Access was extremely difficult with multiple stairs- uneven in parts and handrail lacking in some sections. These stairs were treacherous as my husband discovered when he tripped and fell. The access area was also poorly lit at night

Great, would return.

The apartment location is great, within easy walking distance of Town but on a quiet stretch of lakefront. The owner was friendly and helpful. There is a little jetty which we could use to access the lake. The property has wifi which worked well and there is car parking available on site. There are air conditioning units in the main living/kitchen space and in one bedroom, they are modern and work well.

The steps down to the property are a bit uneven and could be treacherous for an older person or young children.

Right on the lake, absolutely stunning views from both bedrooms.

Bed in the front bedroom was a little hard and totally not your fault but mosquitoes bit us a lot!

Beautiful location on the edge of Lake Orta

Great location on the edge of Lake Orta. The property has plenty of space for parking and its own private dock for launching boats and swimming, we brought SUP boards and were able to leave them on the dock at night. Paddling out to the island in the middle of the lake at sunset when boats had stopped taking other tourists over was a wonderful way to experience this beautiful part of Italy. The apartment is modern and clean and even nicer than it looks in the photos. Both bedrooms have lovely views over the lake, even though the apartment is at the back of a building. There is a path winding around the lake that takes you into the centre of town so you don’t have to drive anywhere in the town (unless you don’t like walking.) It’s best suited to active people who don’t mind walking 20-30 minutes to restaurants - and it’s a gorgeous walk particularly in the evening. The apartment is at the bottom of a hill away from the main road so you don’t hear much traffic in the garden and I didn’t hear any traffic noise in the bedrooms.

Das Appartement war einfach perfekt, tolle Lage, super ausgestattet. Die Vermieterin war sehr nett und hat uns mit sehr guten Vorschlägen für Restaurants, Einkäufe, Kultur und Wanderungen versrorgt. Wir werden sicher nochmals buchen.

On rêve d'y retourner. Un lac superbe et discret à découvrir absolument.

Les photos, les commentaires correspondent à la réalité. C'est très agréable et confortable, calme, propre, très bien situé et l'accueil de Carla est excellent. Nous nous sommes sentis très bien dans ce bel appartement avec vue des deux chambres sur le lac. Le luxe est de pouvoir se baigner très facilement. C'est exceptionnel, mais le terme "luxueux" ne me paraît pas approprié.

Fantastiskt läge! Rymligt, fräscht och nära till både vattnet och byns centrum.

Det var ett problem med lite myror i köket men inget som störde nämnvärt. Det kan vara bra att veta att närmsta mataffär är en timmes promenad bort i nästa by längs vägar utan trottoar.
