Der Ausblick vom Balkon ist wirklich sehr sehr schön und das neue Badezimmer ist auch sehr ansprechend.

Die Fußböden waren etwas dreckig und leider sah es deutlich trister aus als auf den Fotos, es gab keine oder wenig Pflanzen oder Blumen, auch keine Blumenkästen auf dem Balkon. Die Möbel wirkten teilweise etwas abgewohnt und die Fernseher waren alt und viele Programme funktionierten nicht. Auch das Internet war eher schlecht.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, der Gastgeber war jederzeit erreichbar. Die Wohnung war makellos sauber, die Betten bequem, zudem war es sehr ruhig, sodass man gut schlafen konnte. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Hervorzuheben ist, dass die Wohnung einen Balkon mit Blick ins Moseltal und die Burg hat und eine Terrasse, auf der man frühstücken oder den Tag ausklingen lassen kann.

Schoon, ruim en modern ingericht appartement, rustig gelegen maar overal dichtbij. De eigenaar is erg vriendelijk!

De badkamer is onlangs gerenoveerd en heeft geen bad meer, wel een mooie ruime inloopdouche. Geen tegenvaller maar wel handig om te weten. Stenen buitentrap die naar het appartement leidt is niet geschikt voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn, voor ons was dit geen probleem.

The apartment was exceptionally clean and tidy. The kitchen was very well equipped to be able to make proper meals (decent array of utensils, a few basic spices, oven paper/aluminum foil, etc). The bathroom was renovated, the shower was great (and again, enough towels for all the guests, hairdryer, etc, were provided). The bedding was very cosy too. There is a parking spot by the entrance assigned to the apartment, so if you're travelling by car it's super easy to park as well. The apartment is higher up, there is a very nice view of the town from the balcony. There is also an outdoor seating area with a BBQ. Overall we loved this place and the hosts were great. You can tell they put a lot of care into making the place welcoming and comfortable for the guests. PS: If you're looking to bring a coffee solution, they have a Nespresso machine so standard capsules will make (tho the host does leave some at the apartment anyway + sugar, creamer, etc). We brought some ground coffee thinking we'd find a manual espresso machine, from the photos, and didn't need to use it after all!

The only downside to this apartment is that since it's higher up within the town, it does take a bit of hiking up if you are walking up from the train station, for example (we took the train to visit Cochem one night); however it was nothing major. On the same note, the entrance is a steep-ish set of stairs, which is something to consider if you have accessibility restrictions. If that is not a concern, the place is genuinely great.
