- BATHROOM 1: full bath (bathtub)
- BATHROOM 2: 3/4 bath (standing shower)

Kitchen: fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, and spices plus a charcoal grill. We also provide an initial supply of Keurig coffee pods, ground coffee, creamer, tea, condiments (e.g., ketchup, mayo, mustard), trash bags, laundry detergent pods, and paper towels. AREA: the chalet is only 6 minutes away from the closet gas station and 12 minutes drive to Gaylord, where you can find many restaurants, grocery stores, and a movie theater.

AC: summer is fairly mild in Northern Michigan. Like many homes in the region, there is no central air conditioning in the unit. That said, we do provide a portable AC unit along with 4 portable/standing fans, and we encourage guests to open the windows to help with air circulation when necessary.

WASHER/DRYER: due to septic tank limitation, there is no in-unit washer and dryer.

WATER: Due our water source coming from a well near a lake, depending on the season, the water (especially when hot) may have a sulfur smell. This is quite common for our area. Please note that the water is perfectly healthy to drink, and we do provide a gallon of spring/purified water to start plus a water purifier jug for your use.

* The chalet is located in a wooded area, so you may see and hear bugs, furry critters of all sizes (including but not limited to deer, squirrels, and rodents), and reptiles. Our property has regularly scheduled pest control, however, we cannot guarantee that any such critters will not be visible in and around the property. Please try to keep the doors closed, do not leave food outside to prevent entry of unwanted critters. Also do not feed any wildlife as they are wild animals. No refunds will be provided if a local critter visits the property.

* Children are welcome at the chalet; however, Parents should use their own discretion when booking.

* No refunds for weather/natural disasters/power outages/other things that are beyond our control.

Great communication, no issues at all.

It wasn’t fully made aware that we were in a unit connected to another. There was a bachelor party that weekend right next to us; we al like our space. The place was fully stocked and very clean. The beds and rooms were perfect, with fans in each. The beach area was nice and the paddle boats and kayaks were great. The biggest complaint was the sliding glass door. It was very difficult to open and the screen was off the tracks so we couldn’t use it. We are a group of women and the door was very difficult coming and going on the deck to use. It also wasn’t safe that we couldn’t lock it, which is a safety feature that’s necessary.

It was pretty much as described! We really enjoyed the retro album and CD player! I would recommend bringing your favorite CDs! It was nice to spend quality time with our adult children! Played lots of cards in the evenings! Very nice vacay!
