Frankland - Emsworth Harbour 3 Bedroom House

Modern, well equipped, comfortable, spacious, great location for access to the town centre.

Although clean on the surface a thorough deep clean wouldn't go amiss. Unfortunately there were bloody finger-prints on the inside front door around the handle and door plate. A draw front in the main bedroom was lying on the floor inside the wardrobe. The bedside lights were awkward to use with the switches down behind the bedside cabinets and requiring a bed to be moved sideways in the twin room to get access. On one occasion the toaster caused the socket trip-switch to activate leaving all sockets without power, however simple to correct by flicking the switch on the control panel in the downstairs toilet. The courtyard garden could do with a makeover. The waste bin outside the property was full and had number 9 painted on the front, this house is number 7.

The property was in the perfect location for us. Having two bathrooms was very convenient. The layout of the house was quite comfortable.

It seemed like we hadn’t been expected! The back garden was overgrown, there was no instruction/welcome booklet, and no laundry detergent. It felt like perhaps we had arrived early and the house wasn’t ready yet. The word “stunning” to describe the house is not quite right.

The living room was a lovely comfortable social area for myself and 4 friends. Beds were very comfortable. Excellent location to walk into Emsworth

Just felt outside area could of been made to feel more appealing. Only small table with 4 chairs outside. It is actually a lovely space but needs something to make it more attractive.

Not adequate towels and oven not working on arrival. Limited assistance regards the oven and no one to add towels so i had to share one with my daughter. Could f access property for over an hour on arrival because had to send passport info and £150 holding deposit which apparently was there to be filled out but the check in process was incredibly difficult and i was hugely stressed I asked Booking for assistance on messages but no help forthcoming. Reluctant to use booking.com again which is extremely disappointing. I was hoping for some compensation since it was a very expensive 3 nights with all the above problems
