Chalet ALLEMAND

Excellent facilities, comfy beds, lots of extra blankets available, newly renovated. The staff are absolutely amazing, very nice and helpful! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Everything was great!

Lesley and her husband, the owners were very friendly without being over bearing, couldn't have been better hosts (she is English so communication wasn't a problem and she was able to give us excellent tips). This is a value hotel but the rooms belied that, a good size and surprisingly modern with a very good bathroom. The location is on the edge of the older more characterful part of town. The Jouvenceaux lift provides good access to the ski slopes and was only a 5 minute walk. We took Lesley's advice and hired a ski locker on the slopes so getting out in the mornings was no hassle. At the end of the day we'd get a lift into the higher part of the town for an apres ski drink and then walk down to the Chalet, 20 mins downhill, but no skis. Most people would, I guess, appreciate having a car to drive back to the newer and more lively part of town for supper, although the best meal we had was in the old town less than 5 minutes from the chalet. For the price, and despite first impressions, this was an excellent place and I'd have no hestiation in going back or recommending it.

If I had to pick a negative, the breakfast wasn't the most creative. Reception was dark and doesn't look very welcoming, but the hostess soon makes up for that.

Posizione ottima e struttura in legno tipica della zona alpina. Camere confortevoli e letti comodi. Anche la colazione ci è piaciuta. Inoltre è da apprezzare la cordialità dei proprietari.

La camera molto spaziosa, silenziosa e con una bella vista. Bella struttura, comoda per raggiungere Sauze e tanti altri bei posti nelle vicinanze. Siamo stati accolti molto bene dal proprietario con il quale si scambiano volentieri due parole. Colazione inclusa varia e abbondante, anche se qualche proposta in più per la parte dolce non guasterebbe.

Non è proprio un problema, ma il bagno, ampio e anche carino, si perde in dei piccoli particolari di lavori fatti non proprio a regola d'arte, come per esempio l'apertura della cabina doccia, da rivedere sicuramente.
