The property was clean, comfy and only a 15minute walk into the main town. Gigi’s shuttle service to and from the chair lifts was a lovely touch, all the staff were very helpful! The rooms were very clean and warm. I would definitely recommend and would 100% return in the future.

Wonderful ski hotel and a great place to spend New Year’s Eve. Food is exceptional and the staff are wonderful

The staff were wonderful – they went out of their way to serve us dinner at 10 at night to get us to the slopes in the morning and just make it a wonderful stay.

The beds need replacing and the showers are very small.

Enjoyed our time here in the mountains.

Basic ski lodge hotel. It was summer when we stayed. Adequate room with a balcony. Fabulous views of the mountains. Clean but a little dated. Blankets and cover on the bed. I’m not a fan. Basic buffet breakfast Good location to walk into the village for food and drink.

Peaceful retreat in beautiful surroundings

From the outset, the owners went out of their way to be helpful, friendly and hospitable, even offering to drive us to a bus stop in town on our return journey. While the hotel's location is around half a mile from the centre of the resort, it is peaceful and picturesque (an antidote to the party atmosphere of Sauze centre). Otherwise, a driver is available on request to drop you at the ski lifts or collect you at the end of the day at no additional cost. Breakfast was more than adequate in terms of quality and variety with savoury items such as cheese, cold cuts and boiled eggs available over and above the customary pastries and cereal. Our room, complete with a balcony view of the mountains, was a good size and spotlessly clean, unsurprising perhaps given the efficient daily maid service. In summary, we would have no hesitation in booking a future stay.

Very little to dislike though the decor would benefit from an update. Also, I would have appreciated some information in the room directing us to local bars and restaurants and other amenities.

Very clean room, nice bathroom and friendly/helpful staff. Great breakfast. Photos do not do it justice. Mario provided an excellent shuttle service into town whenever we requested it (a few minutes in the minibus). Would definitely recommend.

We thought a kettle in the room would be nice but instead we ordered tea from the bar every afternoon and there was no charge, so we were very happy with this.

Very enjoyable.

This seems to be a family run hotel with very friendly staff and excellent service. The rooms are cleaned on daily basis and new towels provided. Although there is twenty minutes walk to the village, the freequent bus service provided is excellent. It is practically "taxi on call". Call them any time and from anywhere and they will come and collect you. No fried breakfast, but continental breakfast provided with plenty of choices.

The showers are adequate but it I would have preferred the shower cubicals were a bit bigger.

Fantastic Hotel!!

Stayed here 3 years ago, it was so good there was no hesitation as to where to stay this year. Family run, rustic, out of town. A lovely walk in and out of town, but if required transport is provided (included) as and when required. The family is the best, so lovely and caring, the rooms have the rustic feel I love, very characteristic of the area. The breakfast immense with plenty of choice. We also chose to have our evening meals at the hotel, huge selection of food, great menu with 5 courses each night for a very reasonable price. It’s just a wonderful place 💜

Great place to stay

it was quirky but the staff were brilliant, friendly and helpful. The shuttle bus ran from 8.30 until 22.00 and all you have to do is call the driver and they pick you up. The breakfast was plentiful

Really nice out of the way hotel

Breakfast was great, lots of choice. Location was out of the village but we were able to call on the hotel and they would pick us up day or night. They let us use our rooms all day on our check out before our evening flight.
