A luxurious, comfy, tranquil, home from home

Clean, stylish, quiet, comfortable, everything you could possibly need. I couldn’t find fault with any aspect of our stay, except we wish we could have stayed there longer. Honley itself has pretty much everything you could possibly need, a good quality butcher, baker (a delightful place), an excellent cafe, all within a very short distance from the cottage.

I can’t really think of anything I found fault with.

a weekend away catching up

Clear communication from owners. No central heating but electric radiators provided which kept the chill off. Great location in village with a co-op just couple minutes walk away and also great eateries in village. Lovely decor and one of the comfiest beds I have ever slept in.

The cottage is so homey and cozy, with the cutest interior decor—and it’s spotless! Really made the stay extra comfortable.

There was a brief power outage—just about 20–30 minutes—due to road works down the street. It happened around midnight, and Andrew kindly answered my call right away, which I really appreciated. Honestly, I wouldn’t have minded at all if it weren’t for my baby, who’s sensitive to warm temperatures. Everything else was perfect, and the stay was wonderful overall!

We had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage as a family of three — myself, my husband, and our 15-month-old

The cottage exceeded all our expectations: it was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and incredibly cosy and comfortable. It had everything we needed for a relaxing break, and we really appreciated how thoughtfully everything had been prepared. The host was fantastic, with excellent communication before our arrival which made everything seamless. We were greeted with such lovely touches — a bottle of Prosecco, fresh milk, orange juice, and hot cross buns, which made us feel immediately welcomed and set the tone for a lovely Easter weekend. The cottage was ideal, it was peaceful and spacious, with a safe environment for our little one to explore. The location was perfect for countryside walks and visiting nearby attractions. We had such a relaxing, memorable stay and would absolutely recommend this cottage to anyone. We’d love to return in the future!

Perfect base for exploring the area.

Great location for Honley restaurants and bars. Further a field there is Holmfirth and Huddersfield just down the road. The hosts had thought of just about everything you might need, it was very well furnished and equipped.

There were 4 of us and only having one bathroom toilet was a bit inconvenient but not the end of the world.

Home was so clean and had beautiful little touches such as some snacks and drinks available so you felt as if it was a home away from home. Bedding was very comfortable we slept like a dream. Good communication beforehand from the home owners and ample parking and shops locally. We cant fault the venue.

Lovely place. Spotless and homely with everything you need and some lovely touches, they have thought of everything. Supplied a cot and high chair for our baby. Nice place to stay with children or would be nice to relax as a couple. Would love to stay again.
