Perfect for what we needed

Ideal location for a family wedding with space for our family with the stables next door. Very thoughtfully restored barn, very well equipped and comfortable.

Fab cottage. Recommend!

Lovely, welcoming host. Great to stay somewhere where the host had really thought about the small things to make a stay extra nice. Fab space. Great views. We had wonderful weather and were out most of the time - but it would be a lovely place to also hide from the rain a while! Easy to find and good parking too.

Lovely restful break away.

We liked the friendly welcome, with Olivia showing us around. Also the homemade shortbread fantastic, with a bottle of bubbly 😊. Lots of walking then finishing off in the hot tub worked wonders. Thank you.

Just a few more tongs and flat trays for cooking would help. Otherwise everything was really good.

Exceptional

Everything, the house is very spacious and modern and it is way better than the pictures. It is located in a very quite place with great views and lots of walking trails. You also enjoyed watching the horses. Our host (Katy) was great, helpful and very considerate.

Perfect location with stunning views. Spotlessly clean. Lots of extras to add a touch of luxury to our stay, including a wonderful hot tub. Homemade shortbread and champagne on arrival was a superb end to a very long day. Very friendly and helpful hosts who provided everything we needed for an exceptional stay.

Nothing! If I had to add anything then a dressing table or at least a shelf in the bathroom or main bedroom would have been really useful for storing a toiletry/makeup bag. Also a fan would have been very welcome (but it was a heatwave!).

Good

The barn is absolutely gorgeous, very modern yet still kept the barn type features with the place. Everything you need for a stay plus more as the hosts made homemade shortbread plus a bottle of wine on arrival.

The beds were slighty uncomfortable and the double bed had two single mattresses against one another. Also, the barn is quite open which is great in one aspect as you can see the beautiful scenary however not really private either inside around the lounge area (could do with blinds/curtains possibly) and outside in the hot tub (you can see cars and people going past). Its a shame as the overall place and hosts are lovely ! Just a few bits and bobs needs tweeking.
