About this cottage rental

The modern kitchen is fully fitted and very well equipped with everything you would need for your self catering holiday; electric oven, ceramic hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer.

The lounge is spacious, light and comfortable with two settees, dining table, smart TV, DVD player, electric fire, and feature Lakeland slate hearth.

There are two very comfortable bedrooms; the first with a double bed and off this bedroom an ensuite shower room. The second bedroom has twin beds. There's plenty of storage space and both rooms will be dressed in fresh linen and towels for your arrival.

The fully tiled bathroom comprises a shower over bath, WC and hand basin.

There is allocated parking for one car in front of the entrance. Guests can enjoy complimentary unlimited Wi-fi throughout. Small shared garden area with seating.

The apartment is conveniently situated a stones throw from Booth's supermarket (which has an electric car charging point) and the E-Venture shop for easy bike hire.

We felt at home and relaxed at this excellently located and well appointed cottage. We were near the grocery and bus station. The staff at Keswick Cottages was reliably helpful and friendly beginning in the initial reservation process and extending through out stay. 11 Howrah’s Ct was quiet and homey. The property is near the Rugby Club, but we enjoyed the sounds of practice and the one game that occurred while we were in residence.

The positives were good location with allocated parking. The tv, wi fi and heating were very good. Unfortunately there were negatives. There was a drain smell in the bathroom despite two air fresheners being in there. The towels in the bathroom were very old, worn and hard. Not nice to use. Grouting on bathroom floor was dirty. There was one rubbish bag in the bin in the kitchen and no others provided. Overall cleaning of the apartment was patchy with quite a bit of dust overlooked in the cleaning. The property was advertised as suitable for four people. The front bedroom was far too cramped with the door not opening fully as the bed was in the way. We have visited Keswick on many occasions and this has been by far the most disappointing accommodation.

We booked this for us and my brother and his wife as we were attending the Keswick Convention on the Pencil factory site. It is an ideal location, a 5 minute walk to the tent. It is also ideally located for the town and Booths the supermarket. We have done trips to Coniston, Ullswater and Cockermouth. All a manageable drive. Thoroughly recommend it, clean and modern and well equipped place.

The cottage is in an excellent location, good condition, clean and bright. All good and our preferred accommodation in Keswick. Being only two of us with one car there was plenty of room. It is ideal for us but of course everyone has their own priorities. Price wise it is about the going rate. We have stayed in Keswick many times in the last 10-15 years.

We enjoyed our stay at Howrah’s Court. There were a couple of maintenance matters which were noted by the office. We were informed of a pending gas engineer visit with updates and our comments noted. We commend Becky for her excellent customer service during our visit. The location is excellent, handy for Booths and the bus station. The online digital guide was very useful and a really good idea.

A lovely property, well situated near to lots of ameneties. Thank you for the welcome pack. Almost everything you need (take dishwasher tablets). On the ground floor and parking right outside the door so suitable for those with mobility issues. I think we were the first in for the season, so although the radiators were on it took quite some time for the property to warm up especially in the bedrooms which because they were out of the sun were very cold. We enjoyed our stay and would definately come again The property is spotless, well maintained, and comfortable.

All good for us. Great location, good facilities, parking and comfortable. We have stayed in Keswick every year for well over 20 years. This cottage which we have used quite a few times is the one we like best.

On arrival we found the apartment to be quite cold even though the heating was on. It's seems noone was in the week before making it feel colder. As a result of this the bed in the main bedroom felt really cold as did the twin bed. It took 2 or 3 days of the heating being on to feel the benefit. As mentioned on previous occasions the shower in the en suite is still to be fixed. Also the toilet seat seemed loose. Apart from these small issues we had a reasonable stay and at least the weather was dry but very cold and we were still able to get out every day. Thank keswick cottages

Just spent a lovely week at 11, Howrah's Court. The apartment is very comfortable, spotlessly clean and had everything needed to enjoy our holiday. The location is great, a short walk into the Town centre and the added bonus of being just over the road to Booths. Great parking too. Just wish the weather had been as good as the apartment! The flat is in a great location, very close to Booths/bus station and with parking right outside the front door. There are lovely views of the fells from the living room, and the kitchen is very well stocked. No maps/walk books provided so do bring your own!

Overall warm, well-appointed, and comfortable apartment. However, the following points could be addressed. The shower in the en suite is in need of attention along with the shower door. The duvet on the double bed is also in need of replacing. Apart from that, a lovely relaxing week, regardless of the wet weather

This location suited us well with such good access to town centre. The apartment is very well equipped. We love staying here. Even though it’s close to the town centre it feels quiet and has lovely view over the rugby field to the hills.

Enjoyed a stay here with another family member. A great location, kitchen well fitted albeit would be small for 4 people. Lovely views from lounge. Personally I did not find either of the twin beds very comfortable but may just be me, as personal preference. Could do with some non-slip mats in bathrooms. Overall a very enjoyable stay again in Keswick and this is such a good place near the centre.

Our umpteenth stay here, which says it all! Everything is very satisfactory apart from a couple of minor quibbles which are not worth mentioning. The situation could not be better, being two minutes from the best supermarket in the North and the bus station. The staff at Keswick Cottages were particularly helpful this year when we had problems with the key. Thoroughly recommended!

This is a well positioned ground floor flat in the centre of Keswick with parking. The flat has nice views from the lounge and was very quiet.Not a great deal of space in the main bedroom. We both managed to hit our leg on the wooden bed when moving around the room. It was good to have 2 bathrooms. The kitchen doesn't have a lot of space for food but does have a good fridge and freezer. The flat is in good condition and we really enjoyed our stay.. Keswick cottages provide a digital display unit which provides info on the flat, area and check out time plus weather.

Perfect location near to town centre yet with spacious carpark and open views. 2nd bedroom too small for two people and gloomy being under the stairs with a small window. Sofas in lounge were uncomfortable, very low and saggy. Probably need to think about replacing some mugs which were in rather short supply. Would recommend this property if the sofas were upgraded but for a maximum of three people due to the small 2nd bedroom.
