We feel privileged to have stayed here in Triglav national park. The setting is stunning, the mountains feel close enough to touch, the view is stunning and there are walks from the doorstep. The indoors space is spacious, comfortable and warm, kitchen well equipped, we cooked every day. Private outdoors space and the terrace is brilliant for enjoying the view in any weather. We think this is the best house in the Zadnjica valley. Thank you Luka for your help with our luggage on arrival, very much appreciated particularly as we'd done a big shop

There are plenty of plates and pans in the kitchen but a tin opener and kitchen scissors would be useful additions (we used a pen knife instead)

Location is absolutely amazing if you are looking for peace, nature and isolation. The house has plenty of room & the woodburner is lovely particularly when it’s colder in the evenings in early or late season. Close to Triglav trails for convenience.

Needs to be more transparency from Luka as to the downside of this location on booking sites. The 2km road up to the property is unmade and so extreme care needs to be taken driving up there. The final walk up to the dwelling is steep and in wet conditions extremely slippery. There is no vehicular access directly to the house & luggage is offloaded at the parking area approx 100m below the house and transported up via the unique cable dolly contraption. There is no lounge sofa in the main living room however there are two large dining tables. Kitchen is poorly equipped, no microwave or toaster which to us was essential. No large bath towels were provided, just hand towels. The mains water supply to the house is somewhat substandard with awful shower pressure making a nice hot soak after a hike into the mountains impossible. To make matters worse the supply was cut off to the house on day two into our stay and despite mitigation measures being explained by Luka’s father (by means of opening a manhole cover in the garden & adjusting valves to divert bulk stored water) this did not work. If we had been aware of these potential issues we would not booked the accommodation. As a result we were moved to the Apartments at Camp Triglav. Perhaps many would accept this as what you could expect in a basic mountain cottage, however for us we expected better for the price.
