Beautiful Modern Apartment on Wick Lane

Place was clean and cosy. Location was ideal for me

The apartment and facilities were just as described and just as the images show. All of the equipment was available and in working order. The whole apartment was quite warm even without any heating on but 2 big fans are provided. The host was very helpful and responsive to any queries. Detailed directions were provided on the day. Its a great base if attending Abba Voyage as it's just a 20 min walk away. The apartment is set back within the grounds of a warehouse business and accessed through their locked gates in the evening. It is on the first floor together with another apartment next door and to gain access there is a flight of stairs so it's not suitable for those with mobility issues. Nearest underground Tube station coming to & from Euston is Bow Street which is also about a 20 min walk away. There are loads of those public cycles whereever you go if you don't fancy walking. Overall it was a nice stay and if we happened to travel to that part of London again would rebook.

Couple of little things that could be improved: Although everything seemed nice and clean on the surface. Unfortunately, every mug, glass, some of the plates and cutlery I took out needed to be washed before use as they hadn't been washed properly, the mugs had tea or coffee stains in them which were easily removed once I washed them properly. Obviously not cleaned properly by previous guests but should have been checked in between stays. There is only 1 pillow each on the double bed & a couple of decorative cushions. The pillows need replacing, they had seen better days, they were lumpy, flat and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, as there were no spare pillows there was nothing that could be done. It would be better to provide 2 pillows per adult offering some flexibility and comfort for guests. Bathroom is very small which was expected but the sink in particular is a tiny cloakroom hand sink not suitable for a proper bathroom and face washing etc as the water goes everywhere. None of these are major and wouldn't stop us coming back. Overall excellent value for money, felt very safe just a couple of simple tweaks to improve things further.

Appartamento moderno con tv microonde bollitore. Vicino a fermata bus, a 15-20 minuti per la metro (3 staIoni disponibili).

Bagno piccolissimo, si apre a malapena la porta. Non c’è un granché nelle vicinanze (un solo pub, no ristoranti o supermercati). Unico bus il 339 ma non molto comodo, preferirei avere la metro più vicina.

Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich, die Informationen zur Wohnung gut verständlich. Es war alles Notwendige vorhanden, auch Handtücher und Bettwäsche!

Grundsätzlich war es sauber, jedoch Schimmel in der Dusche, und es roch etwas muchelig. Alle Türen quitschten, die Wohnung sehr hellhörig und die Treppe war sehr steil. Im Flur piepste ständig ein Feuermelder?!
