The property was in a decent location and had the essentials for a short stay. The hosts seemed lovely and were very responsive - they offered compensation for the ant problem.

The property unfortunately had an ant problem while we were there - we came home to ants crawling all over our things on the tabletop and there were hundreds on the floor which we had to kill. The hosts offered us ant killer (but this was toxic so for health reasons did not feel comfortable using it during our stay). We did not bring food into the property as we ate out whilst away so this was very concerning regarding the cleanliness of the unit. The floor was also not very clean - if we walked barefoot our feet were dirty. The shower also soaked the bathroom each time it was used due to its angle so we needed to use both smaller 'hair' towels for this, so we only had one towel each for 4 nights which wasn't the most hygienic when we were showering at least once a day in the warm weather. There were also no pool towels provided from what we could see. The apartment also smelled damp each time we walked back into the unit after being out, which was concerning as this could be a sign of mould.
