The property was spacious with spectacular views. Great master bedroom, 2 double rooms, conservatory and patio area. Ample parking. Hot tub is a great facility to unwind in at the end of the day. Good location to the pubs and food outlets in Mortehoe.

Parts of the property were tired and require some redecoration. Rooms in particular were the downstairs bathroom, kitchen and games room. The games room was suffering from water ingress in the back left corner and needed airing before being used as it smelt so bad, (could be a really nice addition). The twin room is really only suitable for children as for adults the beds were not that comfortable. In the kitchen some of the cooking items were a little worn out like jugs and bowls which were badly stained and rusted saucepan handles. From the garden there is meant to be a walkway to join the coastal path which was totally overgrown, this leads to Rockham beach but this is now inaccessible too. These details need to be updated on the website and images of a garden gate also implies access. A single pack of information would be better than it being notices around the property. In our experience of hired properties we have always had a welcome pack of some kind just as simple as a cake etc. and welcome note which adds a personal touch for future guests.

Narrow, steep driveway. Not suitable for medium to large SUV. Also the pool/tabletennis area was dirty. I would not spend 5 minutes in that area
