My wife and I truly enjoyed a very relaxing, beautiful, and romantic stay. The views are stunning, the property is gorgeous, and the pillows are comfy. Between the ocean view and the star-studded sky, we basically lived in the hot tub every evening. Alexander was a great host and we enjoyed meeting the pups as well. We will definitely return!

From the moment I opened the door I was in love with this place. It has the most amazing views. The space itself is very nicely appointed all with the view in mind. Clean and modern. It is the perfect retreat. The host communicated instructions clearly and check in and out was a breeze. Would highly recommend.

Stayed 3 nights for our anniversary. Comfortable bed and fabulous view of the ocean. Small upgrades could be made to elevate the experience. Consider a Frosted or opaque shower door to provide some privacy. Although the suite was very clean and we used the hot tub every night! the outside space glass needed an upgraded cleaning and hot tub cover should be replaced. Other than a couple of minor things, that view and access to walks on the beach were priceless. Thank you to our great hosts!

We loved our stay at the rooftop suite. It was super clean and cozy and right on the beach overlooking the strait. Alexander answered our queries quickly and everything we needed was there, even for a large studio space with just a kitchenette. The photos are anccurate except it’s even nicer, super private and quiet save for the waves. The bed is very comfortable. One thing to be aware off is it IS rooftop. So not only is there a full set of stairs along the gravel pathway as shown in the pictures, there’s also a full flight of stairs after that. It can make for a long haul if you’re overpackets like we are.

Just what we were looking for -- quiet, right on the ocean, lot of windows and balcony looking over the ocean (saw seal, otters, orcas swimming by, along with sea birds and Bald Eagle, deer right outside the door), personal hot tub on the deck each evening. Just basic kitchen stuff (microwave, no oven/stove) -- but that's what we expected. 9 miles (15 minutes) to Sooke -- groceries, restaurants, etc. Lots of beaches all up and down the coastal road.We stayed 4 nights.

This place turned out to be better than we could have pictured, for our honeymoon! The view was incredible and beautiful at all times of the day. We enjoyed watching whales and seals in the evenings and doing some light exploring during the day. Alexander was very friendly and helpful with any of our questions. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Points West's Rooftop suite has a great location. Its just west of Sooke, BC, tucked away in the forest making it nice and quiet, but located on the edge of a sand and gravel beach that presents it with a fantastic panoramic ocean view. The outdoor hot tub and deck is awesome for chilling-out and enjoying the view from. The suite is modern, clean and well appointed - very nicely maintained. The host, Alexander, is very responsive to any enquiries and very respectful of the privacy of the guests - in short, ideal. Whenever we visit Sooke again, it will be our first choice location to stay at!

We stayed at the Rooftop Suite for our Anniversary celebration trip to Victoria Island. The room had spectacular view of the waters and it was so pleasant to wake up to the view in the morning. Alexander provided very detailed instructions for the check-in process and very responsive throughout out stay. The room had all the necessities and we enjoyed soaking in the hot tub after a long day. Thank you Alexander for hosting!

Can't say enough about the stunning views from this property. Watching and hearing the ocean, cruise ships going by, whales breaching in the distance was amazing! Very comfy bed and the large deck with private hot tub is a great touch. There were a few small touches that were missing that would make this property 5 stars but would definitely recommend it!

Our objective in going to Sooke was to have an "ocean" vacation. We grew up on the coast in New England and love the ocean, but we have spent the past 25 years in Tennessee with no ocean in sight! The photos in the listing suggested that the condo had great water views, and they did not disappoint! It's a new facility with modern furnishings and quality accessories. The full length doors and windows reveal that you're right on the water. Great. I would caution seniors or those with disabilities that it's a significant number of steps from the parking area to the condo door. Because of recent knee surgery, I would have struggled to make the climb with suitcases, but the host, Xander, was nice enough to carry them up for me. Getting up and down without heavy bags was easy enough ... and worth it. It's about 8 miles or so to downtown Sooke so some planning of times and destinations is important. All in all, just what we were looking for.

My husband and I came to Sooke for a wedding and the only regret was not being able to spend as much time as we had hoped enjoying the suite. The space was fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay, cozy and wonderfully decorated, with sweeping views of the Juan de Fuca Strait. I especially enjoyed being able to leave the balcony door open at night while falling asleep to the sound of crashing waves below. Alexander was prompt with email communication and extremely accommodating. We would recommend this rental to anyone in a heartbeat! Looking forward to booking again in the future!

A stunning location watching the water, boats and wildlife float by on the Straight. The sunset and moonrise over the water were amazing. We dipped in and out of the hot tub regularly. Staring at the stars in the middle of night was breathtaking. Good sized fridge for snacks and stuff during the day. Sooke has some good eats. Check out the West Coast Grill. They know how to cook. Andrew was a perfect host, could not ask for more. We'll make this a regular stop.

We can’t say enough about how wonderful this place is and how wonderful Alexander and his family are. When we first saw this place, we thought it was too good to be true, but it is better than advertised. Even though you should disconnect and wind down while you are there, I found the fiber, high-speed internet a very pleasant surprise. Best feature, when you lay in the bed all you can see is the water. If the wind is blowing and the waves are moving, you feel as if you are sailing on a cruise ship! Normally we just chill in the room if we go to someplace special. But here, we felt the need to go out and explore and WOW what adventures we had! We never found mystic beach, but the route leads us all the way to Port Renfrew and Botanical Beach. Oh, go to Shirley’s Delicious and order the brekkie! When you’re done eating and admiring the metal works from Foggy Mountain Forge head down the road you turned onto to get into Shirley’s (not back on the main road) and drive about a mile to Sheringham Point Lighthouse about a 15–20 minute walk from the trailhead and you are there. Finally, look up Foggy Mountain Forge, call the master forger and go for a tour of the workshop. It is an event you won’t regret! When you head back to your home away from home, sit in the warm spa tub enjoying the view until finally you rest off to sleep looking out over all of Juan de Fuca. This is truly a one of a kind find. Oh almost forgot it is a very secure area as Stanley will protect you!
