Perfect stay in The Hague.

The room was clean, neat and comfortable. Loved the view from the window and the overall experience. The breakfast was opulent, perhaps even too much. In general, the room was so good we didn’t go back into the city center after we returned from the restaurant. We wanted to spend the night in our hotel room rather than in the city center.

After praising the hotel so much, I can only start nitpicking on small features we didn’t like; - the airconditioning unit made a little too much noise after turning it off; short “hums” of about half a second followed up every ten seconds or so. Nothing too bad, but a small nuisance; - The door separating the bedroom and the main room was a little scary; we had some difficulty opening it the first couple of times. We felt locked up the first time, but this just takes some getting used to.

Would stay here again! Fantastic hotel.

Room was clean and had a great vibe. Amazing bath, comfy bed, and great shower. Perfect cosy suite! Food was very tasty in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. The restaurant staff were very well trained, attentive, and friendly. Great location for visiting the city. We would come here again.

Room Aircon made a periodic electrical noise even when turned off - reported to staff so hopefully not a problem for future.

Fabulous central location; large, comfortable room on top floor of this distinctive hotel restaurant

We had a very comfortable stay at 't Goude Hooft right in the heart of Den Haag. It is a fabulous location if you want to explore the historic part of the city. This Hotel Restaurant has been famous for decades for its large terrace where many locals and visitors love to have a drink or a meal and watch people. Our room was on the top floor (Binnenhof), overlooking the market square. Very spacious, very clean, with a separate WC and large bathroom. There was a sitting and bar area, and the minibar was complimentary (nice touch!) The incredible breakfast was served on the terrace, and was delicious and Dutch, with eggs, cheese, meats and more. There are not many rooms in this hotel and they took very good care of us! Very professional and friendly staff.

The front desk is not always manned, and one evening when we came back late, we were almost locked out. We should have asked about that!

Absolutely the best location!! Great restaurant and bar that is very popular with locals and tourists alike. Good food, good service, great variety, ok prices too. Very helpful staff and a generous, maybe too generous breakfast👍

Check in is a little different and mind the stairs and your head if you are tall like me.

WONDERFUL

On arrival staff member friendly. Breakfast super made exactly what asked for , fruit, yoghurt, bread basket ,eggs, fruit juice list of coffees and tea. The hotel was in a great location to visit main sites of interest, Parliament buildings, museums , churches lots of places to eat and drink near by along with shops .Easy to get to The Peace Palace about 40 min walk and ICC about an hour. Can go by tram too. Tram stop outside hotel along with bus stops near. The main train station Den Haag just over 1k easy walk from hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful went out their way to help with directions and service excellent. The staff all spoke ENGLISH . Bedrooms were very clean and comfortable and lots of hot water for shower or bath.

Excellent stay! Would book again with no hesitation!!!!!

I realize how challenging it must have been to convert/renovate the old facility rooms into these amazing units they are now. Some comments: We stayed in Torentje. There not being a privacy separator of some kind for the shower/tub area is baffling to me. A curtain, etched glass separator, room screen….anything! Shower door was difficult to manage properly. Other than that….everything was outstanding.

Beautifully renovated old Dutch hotel in a fantastic location.

I had noticed the hotel from walking in the area and been drawn to it as it's old style Dutch. The rooms have been completely renovated to a high standard. The morning buffet was personal to our table. The staff were all helpful, the food was good, and the bed was comfortable. We loved having a gas fire in the sitting area. The location is fantastic as base to explore this very walkable city. It made for a nice night away for us to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

Lovely, quaint, little boutique hotel with a popular bar and restaurant area downstairs. Right in the central part of the city and super close (c.15 mins) to all the popular tourist destinations as well as the train station.

The hot water in the bathroom would often be intermittent. I must confess I am a long shower taker, but in the middle of a shower you might get a gust of cold water for a while and have to wait 20 mins for the hot water to replenish. Was a small problem to an otherwise comfortable and extremely pleasant stay.

Exceptional hotel in a central location.

The property is centrally located with good access to lots of restaurants, bars and shops. The breakfast which was included was exceptional. We booked a junior suite and it was beautiful, complete with a jacuzzi bath. All soft drinks and wine in the room was complimentary and stocked up every day. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Staff were extremely helpful, friendly and attentive. One member of staff remembered I had tea every morning so I didn’t have to ask, she brought it directly. Thank you for an exceptional stay.

One very minor thing was, because of the hotels central location it can be quite noisy on a night and morning. However ear plugs were provided in the room.

Bad

There was a major construction site in front of the hotel - you look out of the window and you see the site. The construction workers were still busy in the evening and we were told that they start at 7am in the morning. We travelled with a baby (which the hotel knew) - but nobody told us about the site beforehand. We checked out again after 45minutes, and the management refused to refund us due to the fact that "the construction is out of their control"

Great hotel with cozy restaurant and amazing staffs

All the staffs were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the best suite they have and the price was very good for what I got. The room was well furnished and comfortable. the mattress of the bed was one of the best I had. the breakfast was tasty everyday in their cozy restaurant. I loved the hotel!

i felt the toilet and the security window of the door were too high (I am 162cm😎😚. the water in the shower was not stable at all. My room had a dishwasher but I couldn’t find the pods for the machine. microwave addition would be even better

Wonderful building and location.

The spa bath and suite were perfect and as pictured. Great quality and everything was working properly. The senior staff members were very friendly.

I had to clean the bath before using it as it had dead flies in it. Very inflexible in providing earlier check ins which I am sure could be possible by prioritising the requested one to clean first. No communication that they would even try, just a default No.

Sometimes the pubs in the area can be noisy at 2:00 in the morning when the happy customers leave.
